 By Mark Rodriguez Goku Black and Zamas have fused into God Zamas, easily overpowering Goku and Vegeta. Upon finding out that Potara Fusion only lasts an hour for mortals, Goku and Vegeta decide to use their own Potara and become Vegetto. God Zamas is about to toss a barrage of Katchin cubes, the hardest substance in the universe, just as Vegetto is about to fire off a Final Kamehame Ha. Before he can deliver the finishing blow, Vegetto splits back up into Goku and Vegeta, moments before the Katchin blocks hit them. Chapter 24- Son Goku's Evolution Goku and Vegeta lay exhausted, having narrowly avoided being crushed by the metal cubes. Goku asks Vegeta what's going on and Vegeta asks him how he expects him to know. Goku says they should have had more time.  Trunks asks Gowas about the Fusion lasting an hour. Gowas says maybe those two are so powerful that the fusion was unstable. Trunks says that Zamas is still fused, and Gowas says it might be the limit of being mortals.  Zama

 By Mark Rodriguez I first found out this sexy martial arts series from my good friend The Fish Hunter, who would collect the manga series as a hobby. While Tokyopop brought it over as 'Battle Vixens' the real series was called Ikki Tousen which follows several female schoolgirl fighters on all sorts of adventures. The original manga started in April of 2000 in Japan, with the anime version coming out in 2003. While the manga series had 24 volumes total, only 15 of those were brought over to the states. I'm not sure if it was due to lack of sales, or Tokyopop just lost interest. Also, unlike other series like say, Dragonball, Death Note or Bleach, where you can still find new copies of their manga due to various reprints and re-releases, Ikki Tousen was never reprinted in the states as a collection or anything after volume 15 was done. It took me a while to find some of them so I'll be reviewing the most I can if I can find all 15 volumes as long as they don't go fo

 By Mark Rodriguez Goku and Vegeta have returned to Trunks' future timeline for the final battle against Goku Black and Zamas. After being outclassed by our heroes, Black and Zamas even started arguing with each other. As Vegeta prepares to end things, Black and Zamas pull out the Potara earrings. Goku recognizes them and tells Vegeta to kill them now, but it's too late. Black and Zamas have fused to become God Zamas! Chapter 23- The Potara's True Worth God Zamas tells Goku and Vegeta that they will pay for rebelling against the gods. Goku says that he's seen that Fusion before and Vegeta says it's the same one they used to become Vegetto. Trunks has never seen Fusion before and is confused and Kaioshin explains how it works.  By Mark Rodriguez Vega was sent after Ryu and Ken and went to attack Eliza. Ken arrived in time to save his wife from the Spanish Ninja. The couple wonder what Shadaloo wants with Ryu to the point that they're willing to kill for it. Elsewhere, Guile and Chun Li are working together to find leads on Shadaloo as well and run into Charlie. Charlie, once thought dead, is now calling himself Agent Shadow. Chun Li calls out Charlie's name as he's holding onto an unconscious Guile. Charlie says he's Shadaloo Agent Shadow. He says he has found his second objective, Chun Li, and throws Guile to the side. He says his objective is to exterminate her and he gets into his fighting stance.  Chun Li dodges a punch from Agent Shadow and she tells him that if he switched sides, he should be prepared for the fight of his life. Chun Li dodges another punch and hits him in the back. She goes for a leg sweep and them shoves him back. Chun Li then kicks him hard enough to send him into the

 By Mark Rodriguez Superman and Wonder Woman have become a couple, and while Wondie wishes she would tell the world, Supes wants to keep it secret. After they both go to investigate a storm that appeared out of nowhere, something was strong enough to knock Superman flying out of the ocean. As Superman recovers and helps deal with survivors, Wonder Woman comes face to face with Doomsday, and a bloody battle begins! Gods and Monsters opens with Wonder Woman being knocked into the sky by Doomsday and dropping to the floor of the destroyed battleship. Her arms and broken and she tries to think of some weakness the monster might have. She thinks of flying away as Doomsday prepares to swing his huge fist down upon her. The surrounding waves are about to splash onto the battleship. Suddenly the battleship rises, as Superman is lifting it up from underneath. The battleship is safely back on shore and Superman asks Wonder Woman if she's alright and if she saw what hit him earlier. Wondie s

 By Mark Rodriguez One of the bold new twists that The New 52 DC Comics reboot went with was the idea of Superman and Wonder Woman having an interest in each other and becoming a couple. In a certain way, it kind of makes sense for two super powerful beings that are pretty much outsiders to the regular human world to find solace in each other. The only issue with that would be that Superman has been known to be in love with Lois Lane, similar to how Wonder Woman is in love with Steve Trevor. However, what if these two superheroes fell for each other before they got too close to their human partners? I picked up a few issues of this series back in the day and in true Mark Rodriguez fashion, they've been bagged, boarded and locked away in my comic book long boxes for years.
