Two AEW shirts that vanished in a blink of an eye

By Mark Rodriguez Buying wrestling shirts is always a big deal for the devoted fan, especially since a lot of them you have to get 'while they're hot' or some are available for a limited time. If you wait too long, or the wrestler gets released, their merch will vanish, so you better get it while you can. In the case of ProWrestlingTees, whenever a wrestler leaves the indies to go to WWE, for example Cora Jade FKA Elayna Black, all their merch gets removed since WWE will handle their merch going forward. Some shirts become outdated really quickly due to how the story changes with each new episode. The shirts based on Y2AJ were outdated by the time you got them in the mail because the team of Chris Jericho and AJ Styles was very short lived. But what about shirts that were up for such a short amount of time that they were gone within weeks, or even the same day it was released? I found two examples with ProWrestlingTees which I decided to bring up because it was odd that it ...

My February 2021 Shirt Haul

By Mark Rodriguez Alright so this time I did succumb to getting a few shirts, mostly due to the fact that Cora Jade shut down her older shirt shop over at ProWrestlingTees and also the fact that Hot Topic had some cool deals with shirts related to ProWrestlingTees. So um... yeah, ProWrestlingTees wins again. February 1- Elayna Black shirts Like you know, Elayna has been signed to WWE under the new ring name Cora Jade, so Big Daddy Vince will be in charge of any new merch going forward. So I bought these last 2 shirts before she would close up shop. Freelance Wrestling Card shirt I wasn't gonna buy this one originally, mostly because it looks very similar to another shirt she released when she got her newest (at the time) gear. I love the card design and I love the scenes in the background from her various matches. I would have bought this sooner if they used a different image front and center, but overall a cool shirt, so I went for it before it's gone forever. 'Fear the O...

My January 2021 Shirt Haul

By Mark Rodriguez Well true to my word, I'll be cutting down on shirt buying, I have enough to fill a closet on just what I bought last year alone. Looks like this month it's gonna be all wrestling. I didn't go for the Marvel Collector Corps box and the Geek Fuel Box isn't gonna make it on time. Let's check em out. Jan. 22, 2021- ProWrestingTees Purchase Brodie Lee- Exalted in Heaven How could I not get this awesome shirt? I have to say, it's a pretty sweet design and a hell of a way to commemorate him. All proceeds for this shirt (and other Brodie Lee shirts) go to his family. To top it off, for that month CM Punk and Mick Foley also announced any of their merch sold will go the family of the late Brodie Lee.  Shanna shirt- Shanna's latest shirt goes with her current Dragonball theme as we see the 4-star Dragonball represented there. Totally love the shirt, and Shanna has been wearing it a lot on her matches lately, so it's pretty cool. Hikaru Shida sh...

My December 2020 Shirt Haul

By Mark Rodriguez Here is possibly my last big shirt haul to wrap up the year. I think I have enough shirts to last me for a good while, lol, so I'll be stopping next year. I did indulge myself this month so you will see some shirts I bought myself alongside the usual sub-boxes. And given it's the holidays, who knows, I might get some shirts for Christmas. Dec 8, 2020- Marvel Collector Corps Infinity Saga End Credits- Shawarma Time So this time the theme was revolving around those beloved MCU ending credit scenes. It came with a Funko Pop of Captain America doing his PSA as seen at the end of Spider-Man Homecoming, and one of Nick Fury trying to contact Captain Marvel seconds before he gets Snapped away like at the end of Infinity War. The shirt has the OG MCU Avengers, Captain America, Iron Man, Bruce Banner, Black Widow and Hawkeye enjoying some shawarma after fighting off an alien invasion at the end of the first Avengers movie.  It's a cool shirt and takes me back to w...

Quick Review of AEW Double or Nothing *heavy spoilers*

By Mark Rodriguez So this was an amazing success, and I was glad to be a part of it and watch it live from my laptop. After feeling dissatisfied with his previous position at his formal place of employment, Cody Rhodes went to Ring of Honor where he joined the Bullet Club and basically became big money. Alongside Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, Hangman Page and The Villain Marty Scurl, The Bullet Club basically ran things at RoH. Seeking more, Cody sought out to make his own PPV, hoping to be one of the highest making PPV that wasn't from the WWE, and we got All In. Cody would leave RoH, but rather than sign up with another wrestling company, he would help form his own organization, All Elite Wrestling, and here we are at their very first Pay Per View, Double or Nothing at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas Nevada. The company also works alongside the guys behind ProWrestlingTees and ProWrestlingCrate both of which I have given lots of dollars to by now. Aside from the regular cable ...

Mark's Top 5 Favorite Wrestling shirts 2018

By Mark Rodriguez Most people that I hang with know I'm into wrestling, mostly due to me wearing some cool shirts. While I do shop the WWE shop for deals, I usually get 2 shirts almost every month from ProWrestlingCrate, or straight from the ProWrestlingTees site itself. I decided to list my personal top 5 favorite shirts for the time being. Johnny's been racking up a cool collection of wrestling shirts as well Some of these shirts are pretty new, and some have been long-time faves of mine. Let's take a quick look. Maybe some of these shirts are some you might own as well. Now these shirts, except for number one are in no particular order because I love these them all almost equally. 5- Bray Wyatt shirt- The New Face of Fear This is one of my all-time favorite shirts related to one of my favorite WWE guys, Bray Wyatt. I just wish they'd give him the push he so rightfully deserves as the New Face of Fear. What I particularly love about this shirt is that the ...
