Marvel's Civil War II # 7

By Mark Rodriguez When a new Inhuman named Ulysses learns her has the power to predict the future, Captain Marvel chooses to use it to stop disasters before they start, while Iron Man wonders if they should tamper with the future. These visions have led to a battle with Thanos that cost War Machine his life, Hawkeye killing Bruce Banner with an arrow specially prepared if he were to turn into the Hulk again, and an innocent woman being arrested for being suspected of working for HYDRA. The last vision predicted that Miles Morales would kill Steve Rogers. After losing favor with Black Panther and the Inhumans, Carol still wants to go after Miles. Maria Hill told her that they have located him. Medusa and Karnak approached Ulysses who seems to be zoned out. Medusa tells him that the Ulitmates want him to get more tests since his powers have been evolving rapidly and his visions have become more off-putting. Ulysses is still lost in his own world and won't speak. Ulysses finds himsel

Marvel's Civil War II # 6

By Mark Rodriguez A new Inhuman named Ulysses can see visions of the future and Carol Danvers thinks they should be used to prevent trouble before it starts. Tony Stark has doubts of just how reliable these visions were. One vision predicted the arrival of Thanos and the battle to stop him ended with the death of War Machine and landing She Hulk in a coma. Another prediction has the Hulk flip out and kill everyone, and Hawkeye killed Bruce Banner before it could happen with a special Gamma treated arrow Banner himself made. After Carol had a random woman arrested thinking she worked for HYDRA, a fight broke out between her team and Tony's team, when suddenly everyone sees Ulysses' vision of Miles Morales killing Steve Rogers. Carol places Miles under arrest. Carol tells everyone to cease fire, including Rocket who was talking back. Tony and Carol argue about what Miles should do. Tony says that this isn't like the Hulk who was basically a ticking time bomb, Mi

Marvel's Civil War II # 5

By Mark Rodriguez Thanks to a new Inhuman named Ulysses that has visions of the future, Carol, Captain Marvel decided to use him to stop disasters before they start. This led to a battle against Thanos that resulted in the death of War Machine and She Hulk being put in a coma. Another vision predicted that the Hulk would go crazy and kill everyone, and Hawkeye shot a Gamma-treated arrow to kill Bruce Banner before he would turn. The courts acquitted Hawkeye, labeling him a hero which enrages She Hulk. Carol arrests a woman she suspects is working for HYDRA due to Ulysses' visions, but she is rescued by Nightcrawler on behalf of Tony. Carol and Tony's big groups of superheroes finally face off as an all-out war is about to break out. The issue opens with a helicopter flying tourists around, showing them the Statue of Liberty. The tourists don't care and want to see superheroes. Just then Drax is sent flying past the chopper and they are forced to land as the su

AEW Dark Elevation Episode 68 (Women's Matches)

By Mark Rodriguez This week got several women's matches as we see the return of Max the Impaler and several others. Not only that, but Reba actually has a match rather than just being Britt Baker's little lackey.  Match 1- Heather Reckless & Tootie Lynn vs Serena Deeb & Mercedes Martinez After a little staredown between Serena and Mercedes, Serena starts the match against Tootie Lyn. Deeb and Lynn grapple, Deeb going for a hold which Lynn tries to turn into a pin. Deeb quickly turns this into a cross arm breaker. Mercedes is definitely not happy, and Deeb is also annoyed that the crowd keeps cheering for Tootie. Deeb hits Tootie with a European Uppercut and bounces her against the ropes. Tootie hits her with a dropkick that knocks her back. She tries for a standing dropkick but Deeb steps away, letting her fall. As D

The Future Foundation # 2

By Mark Rodriguez Some time after losing Johnny in a fight in a battle in the Negative Zone, Reed Richards decides to bring back the Fantastic Four as the Future Foundation. Spider-Man was invited to replace The Human Torch. As the new team gets settled, Reed and Sue's daughter Valeria had invited Doctor Doom to join the team.  The issue opens with The Thing losing it upon seeing Doctor Doom in the building and goes to attack him. Reed tries to calm him down, and Doom asks if it's true that he heard that Ben just stood and watched as Johnny died in battle. Thing pulls Reed back and throws a table at Doom, who easily destroys it with an energy blast. Thing dives out to grab Doom but it both of them are held in place by Sue. Sue asks what's going on and Thing explains that Doom was invited to stay with them. Valerie says they have something important for Doctor Doom to do. Reed's father says this is a time they need Doom close. Thing says he doesn't want to there any

The Future Foundation # 1

By Mark Rodriguez Back in 2011, there was a time where the Fantastic Four tragically lost Johnny Storm, the Human Torch. After some time off to grieve, Reed decided to bring back the Fantastic Four, but as the Future Foundation, with all new costumes and so forth. The biggest change was bringing in Spider-Man to replace his buddy Johnny. Let's take a look at their first couple of issues.  Issue 1 begins with some scientists about to activate some machinery. One of them seems hesitant about the whole thing, but they decide to proceed anyways. Elsewhere, Reed watches Johnny Storm's will in hologram form. I assume most of the superheroes do something like this in case they die on the next mission and actually stay dead. His video tells them that if he dies, give his spot to Spider-Man, which Reed agrees to. Later on Spider-Man arrives on the roof and is greeted by Susan in her brand new costume. Spidey is impressed by their new location and Susan explains that sometime befor

Marvel's Civil War II # 4

By Mark Rodriguez Thanks to an Inhuman named Ulysses, the Marvel Super Heroes can predict disasters and stop them before they start. Captain Marvel wants to use his abilities to do exactly that, but Tony Stark is worried about attacking people before they do anything. One prediction foretold of the appearance of Thanos on Earth, and in that battle, She Hulk is mortally injured and War Machine dies. Ulysses has another vision of the Hulk flipping out and killing everyone, so Carol goes to see him. Bruce Banner is killed by a special Gamma Arrow entrusted by him to Hawkeye, and he is now arrested and in trial. This only creates more tension between Tony and Carol. Let's see what happens. The issue opens with Carol coming to visit She-Hulk who had just got out of her coma. She remembers the battle with Thanos that put her in that condition. Carol tells her that the Hulk is gone thanks to Hawkeye and she woke up just in time for the trial verdict to go down. Jennifer dema

Marvel's Civil War II # 3

By Mark Rodriguez An Inhuman is discovered that can see visions of the future, and Captain Marvel wants to use him to prevent disasters where they start. When Ulysses predicts where and when Thanos would arrive on Earth, Captain Marvel leads a team into battle, which leads to the death of War Machine and puts She-Hulk in critical condition. Iron Man kidnaps the kid and tries to force him to see his visions so he can study how they work. The Ultimates arrives to stop Tony, but suddenly the Inhuman has a vision of the Hulk going on a rampage and killing everyone. Not wasting any time, Captain Marvel heads off to talk to Bruce Banner himself. The issue starts with Matt Murdock holding Carol Danvers AKA Captain Marvel on trial. He asks her if she remembers the events of August the 19th. She says she does. It was when she went to confront Dr. Banner. Banner is surprised to see Captain Marvel and she asks him what he's working on. Tony also arrives, without his armor, and a
