Five Nights at Freddy's- The Twisted Ones- book review

By Mark Rodriguez I finally found some time to sit down and read this one, enjoying the bright sunny day and cool breeze as I flip the pages. It continues the story of Charlotte getting both a grip on her past as well as the events of the first book and tells a tale that completely goes in another direction of the games. The Twisted Ones starts a year after the last book with Charlie getting used to get college life. She is mostly racked with some sort of survivors guilt when her twin brother was killed instead of her by Afton in a Golden Bonnie suit when they were children. She always had the feeling her twin was watching her somehow but was now starting to lose that connection, leaving her desperate to get it back as well as find answers. All this comes to a head when she goes to meet back up with her friend John near the town of Hurricane. Upon arriving, she runs into officer Clay who wants her to confirm something he found. It was a murder victim but the markings all o

Batman and the Outsiders # 3 (2019)

By Mark Rodriguez Batman formed a new group of Outsiders consisting of Katana, Orphan, and the Signal led by Black Lightning. Their mission was to rescue a young woman named Sofia with super powers who is being targeted by Rah's Al Ghul. After a battle against the latest member of the League of Assassins, Ishmael, the Outsiders and a friend of Batman named Kaliber were defeated and Sofia was captured. Sofia awakens in front of Rah's Al Ghul who offers to train her. Lesser Gods Part 3 opens with Batman on a rooftop talking to his team. Their main concern is not failing, but rescuing Sofia. He says Black Lightning will lead them against an enemy that will test them. The enemy is Batman, he says he will meet them in the Waterways in 3 hours. Sofia sees herself falling into the mouth of a red dragon as a giant sized Rah's Al Ghul watches on. Sofia tells that she hates him. Rah's tell her that he protected her and stopped Ishamel fro killing her. He said her fa

Five Nights at Freddy's- The Silver Eyes- Book Review

By Mark Rodriguez Back in the day, Scott Cawthon had no idea his indie game, Five Nights at Freddy's would become such a huge hit. After several games in the horror series, it was only a matter of time before there would be some sort of outside media besides the games. Cawthon caught his fans off guard with his announcement of a book based on the series, this time with a much more human element. This was the first cover before they decided to change it to match the cover style of the next 2 books. I was lucky enough to order this one online shortly after it was first released. The Silver Eyes is much different from what one might expect based on playing the games. Rather than the book following the life of a security guard working at Freddy Fazbear's, this story centers around a group of friends who have heard of the mysterious murders concerning the pizzeria. The story starts ten years after the mysterious child murders surrounding Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, which

300 posts!

By Mark Rodriguez Wow, 300 posts and a lot has changed during that time. We finally got to see the big End Game, the culmination of everything in the MCU that started with the first Iron Man film back in the day. With Spider-Man Far From Home showing a big of the world's reaction to the events of both Infinity War and End Game, it closes the chapter on the MCU as we look ahead to see where the story will continue from there. Especially since Disney now owns Fox and the X-Men and Fantastic Four movie rights, and the original Fox X-Men concluded their series. On other things, Cody Rhodes stepped up and unleashed All Elite Wrestling to the masses. With their events streamed on Bleacher Report Live domestically and the Fite TV app internationally, they are about to have a TNT TV deal in October. From what I've seen at Double or Nothing, Fyter Fest and Fight for the Fallen, I've been happy to give the ol' WWE a rest. ProWrestlingTees helps promote AEW but al

Batman and the Outsiders # 2 (2019)

By Mark Rodriguez Batman organized a new team of heroes which he wants Black Lightning to take charge of so they can discover who is hunting and killing metahumans. The team is consisting of The Signal, Orphan and Katana. The victim in question, Sarah escaped as a mystery man killed her father. Now another mystery man claiming to be from the future has arrived to rescue her. What will happen now? In the Batcave, Bruce tells Jeff that Sofia has a tracker implanted in her so he knows she is out of LA. He says she is with a man he trusts named Kaliber and he wants Jeff's team to get her because he's not the most stable person. Jeff asks Bruce how he does all of this and be the symbol of certainty. Bruce says he's the symbol of fear, Jeff represents hope and that is what Sofia needs now. He tells him that the Outsiders can arrive in LA in 5 hours but to be careful for whoever else is hunting for her. Elsewhere, Kaliber tells Sofia that is actually a former arms dea
