 By Mark Rodriguez This was the original 4-part mini-series that was happening during the Blood Hunt event. As I know now, it would eventually become an on-going series (or at leeast a longer running series, it's hard to tell nowadays). The story involves Hawkeye and we'll most likely get to see how this team got together, so let's check it out. "The City That Never Sleeps" opens with Clint Barton hiding in New York as he is still suspected of having killed the UN Ambassador (from the Black Widow and Hawkeye series I really should get back to). The police find him eating at a local diner, and the archer asks how they found him so easily. The cops says all he did was grow a mustache. He comments that growing one takes effort. They call for back up but all other units are busy. Just then the people outside notice that the sun has gone dark. A vampire busts through the window of the cafe, surprising the police.  By Mark Rodriguez Vampire have gathered together all over the world, forming a cult called The Structure. They managed to make all of the Darkforce users in the world explode into portals to the Darkforce Dimension, blocking out the sun. With this happening worldwide, all of the Marvel superheroes have their hands full, and some of them decided to form a team. The story opens on Broadway and Hewes Street in Brooklyn as a couple decide to check out an old movie theater that is still open. They want to hurry and get there before any film students show up looking for extra credit. Just then a bunch of vampires show up, telling them that they're not going to make it. The couple says they have never done anything to vampires, and don't even read those 'sparkly vampire books'.  Suddenly the Blood Hunters arrive, composed of Hallow's Eve, Elsa Bloodstone, White Widow and Dagger.  By Mark Rodriguez Looks like the streets will run red with blood, and it's up to the Marvel Superheroes to team up to stop it. The next big Marvel event starts here!!! The issue opens with Spider-Man fighting an enemy named Doctor Dark while calling him Doctor Dork. The villain is frustrated and says this is why nobody likes Spider-Man. Spidey gets a civilian out of the way of his energy attacks and asks if he likes him. Spider-Man starts attacking the villain while asking if he's a real doctor. Suddenly Doctor Dark asks what Spider-Man is doing to him, when all he is doing is punching him.  Doctor dark suddenly throws up a strange black liquid. He screams and suddenly evaporates into dark energy. Spider-Man sarcastically considers this an 'unproblematic win'.  Meanwhile in Arizona, Reed Richards tells his wife Sue that there has been several dimensional breaches.
