 By Mark Rodriguez The Universe 6 VS Universe 7 tournament continues. Frost manages to defeat both Goku and Piccolo with a mysterious method. Jaco was able to point out that he was using some sort of weapon, which turned out to be a poisoned needle. This reinstates Piccolo into the tournament, but Vegeta offers to take his place so that he can get to fight Frost.  Chapter 11- Vegeta's Turn! The announcer is confused that Vegeta wants to fight Frost, even though Piccolo's loss was now redacted and he's still next. Vegeta says Piccolo wishes to forfeit and Piccolo nods. Champa says they can do whatever they want. Beerus calls Goku over and shows them the mark left when he also got pricked by the poison needle, so he should also be placed back in. Vegeta insists he's going next and that Goku can hop in last. Beerus insists that Monaka must be last so their order will be Vegeta, then Goku and finally Monaka. The announcer agrees to their line up.  Frost tells Vegeta not to

 By Mark Rodriguez The action continues with the Universe 6 VS Universe 7 tournament. While we get a couple of short chapters, they will get noticeably longer when we get to the Goku Black arc. The first manga volume went into the Battle of Gods arc (though it skipped a lot of Bulma's party shenanigans) and skipped the Resurrection F arc (it acknowledged it happened, but it assumed you've seen the movie anyway) and goes into the Tournament 6 arc. One noticeable thing is when Goku's friends and family came along to see the fights, Pilaf, Mai and Shou were also invited. The last volume left off with Goku facing off against Frost from Universe 6. Frost is very similar to Freeza, but is regarded a hero where he comes from. After going through his transformations, he finally goes for his final form, which is similar to Freeza's final form.  Chapter 10- Goku is pleased to see Frost in his final form and says now the fight begins.  By Mark Rodriguez We get three matches this week as we see more of Emi Sakura and Mei Suruga. We also get to see the indie star Blair Onyx make her return to AEW. Match 1- The Bunny w/Penelope Ford vs Blair Onyx Right as the announcer introduces Blair Onyx, The Bunny is already up in her face hitting her with elbow strikes. The bell rings and Bunny whips Blair across the ring and knocks her down as she runs back towards her. With Blair up against the ropes, Bunny starts stomping on her and pressing her boot up against her face. Bunny then moves back and runs across the ring, hitting Blair with a diving crossface.  Bunny grabs Blair and starts talking smack to her. Blair manages to hit her in the midsection a few times. Bunny takes a swing and Blair dodges by leaning backwards until she touches the mat. Blair grabs her by the throat but Bunny kicks in the midsection and runs for the ropes. Bunny knocks Blair down with a high knee strike to the jaw. With Blair dazed, Bunny grabs her and

By Mark Rodriguez The tournament between Universe 6 and 7 begins and the first fight is between Goku and Botamo. Botamo is incredibly fast, but Goku seems to be even faster. However, Champa, the Destroyer God from Universe 6 says that Botamo is just getting started.  Chapter 9- Goku VS Botamo The fight continues and Goku grabs one of Botamo's elastic arms and punches the heck out of him. Botamo literally bounces back, and he seems able to resist all of Goku's attacks. Goku tries to blast him with a KameHame Ha, and it doesn't work. Piccolo and Vegeta note that Goku can't cause any damage to him and will eventually tire out. Krillin notes that Goku hasn't even turned Super Saiyan yet, and Vegeta says it might not be enough. Goku then gets an idea. He pushes Botamo onto his back and grabs him by the legs. He then drags him across the ring. Botamo tries to blast him, but the Saiyan dodges the attacks and tosses him out of the ring. The next opponent is Frost, who looks

 By Mark Rodriguez The tournament between Universe 6 and 7 is about to begin. The team of Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, Majin Buu and Monaka are ready. As they encounter the members of the opposing team, they notice that one of them looks like Freeza. Chapter 8- The Battle Begins As everyone is ready to take the exam, Goku, Vegeta and Piccolo notice the Freeza-lookalike but they don't get a sinister vibe from him just yet. Goku also sees a giant robot-looking fighter take his seat and wonders if he's even human. Just then a kid notices Goku and Vegeta and asks if they're also Saiyans. Vegeta says the armor he wears is similar to what Saiyans used to wear before Freeza took over. The Saiyan comes from the planet Sadla and Vegeta says that was their original planet before it fell to a civil war. They had to go out and conquer another planet and named it Vegeta, which also fell. Vegeta asks if their Saiyans are also a warrior race, and the kid says they are but they are hired to figh

 By Mark Rodriguez Beerus and Champa have arranged a 5 on 5 martial arts tournament with the best fighters of universe 6 and 7. Whoever wins will get a wish from the Super Dragonballs.  Chapter 7- Warriors from Universe 6 Goku goes to see Mr. Satan and enlists Majin Buu for the tournament. Meanwhile Bulma tells Jaco about the tournament and he wants to see it too. Bulma says friends and family are allowed to join, so he can bring his girlfriend too. Jaco makes excuses and Bulma figures out that he's been dumped again.  Bulma and Jaco arrive to meet Lord Zuno, who literally knows everything. Lord Zuno takes offerings which in this case is a kiss to the cheek from Jaco. Since Jaco is a guy, he gets one question. To prove that Lord Zuno really is all-knowing, he asks him Bulma's bust size, which he knew. Bulma kisses Zuno's cheek, but since she is not his type she only gets three questions. Zuno is extremely literal, so even asking him to repeat himself with a clarifying quest

By Mark Rodriguez Goku and Vegeta were training with Whis on Beerus' world until Champa and Vados show up. Beerus and Champa compare the foods from their universes. Upon finding out that the Earth from Champa's universe is gone, he decides to hold a 5 on 5 tournament with the best fighters of each universe. If Champa wins, the Earth will go to his universe.   Chapter 6- Tournament Preparation Some time ago, Beerus and Champa were fighting it out in space, destroying planets as they did. Champa is angry that Beerus ate the last Puff Puff Berry off his birthday cake, and Beerus said it was his birthday cake too. They decide they don't care about the universe anymore and both are about to destroy it, when Whis and Vados knock them both out. They tell them that from now on they should settle their disputes with food. Whis tells Vegeta that's why they have food showdowns now. Beerus asks about the tournament and how they'd even be able to switch universes. Champa tells h

 By Mark Rodriguez Thanks to a special ritual, Goku was able to obtain the form of Super Saiyan God and fight with Beerus. Even though he wasn't able to defeat Beerus, he impressed the Destroyer God enough for him to spare the planet. Beerus also tells him there are other universes out there with powerful fighters, and even though he seemed all-powerful, Whis is even more powerful than him. Chapter 5- Beerus and Champa The next chapter takes place several months later with Goku and Vegeta sparring on Beerus' planet. As Vegeta is about to get attacked from behind, he turns into a new form called Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan. Goku says they agreed not to use that form and transforms as well, but bites his tongue trying to pronounce the super long name. He asks Whis if they can do anything about the name, and he suggests to just call it Super Saiyan Blue. He also tells them that they were supposed to be training without using it.  The narrator casually explains that Goku and Vege

 By Mark Rodriguez The God of Destruction Beerus has seen a premonition of the Super Saiyan God and has decided to seek him out. His search took him to Kaioh Sama's planet where he defeated Goku. He then goes to Earth where he finds Vegeta at Bulma's birthday party. After a fight breaks out where Beerus is  about to destroy the planet, Goku returns to stop him. Chapter 4- Battle of Gods Goku decides to ask Sheng Long about the Super Saiyan God so they gather the Dragonballs (Bulma had them collected as part of her party) to summon him. Sheng Long tells them that the Super Saiyan God form can be achieved with a ritual including 6 righteous Saiyans. The gang realizes they only have 5 (Goku, Gohan, Goten, Trunks and Vegeta) until Videl tells them she is pregnant with Gohan's baby and they can perform the ritual. Doing so led to Goku achieving the Super Saiyan God form. Goku is ready to fight and tells Beerus to not destroy the planet if he wins. Krillin can't feel his ki a

By Mark Rodriguez Lord Beerus has seen a premonition of the Super Saiyan God and wishes to fight him. He finds Goku training with Kaioh Sama. After transforming into Super Saiyan 3, Goku is easily taken down by Lord Beerus. Now the God of Destruction sets his sights on Earth and the other Saiyans living there.  Chapter 3- The Rage of Beerus Kaioh Sama asks if Goku is alright and he says he is but is worried because Bulma is having her birthday party on Earth. Speaking of which, Beerus has already started attacking Gohan and Majin Buu at said birthday party. This places this scene right smack in the middle of the story, complete with an editor's note stating that if you want the full details of Bulma's party, watch The Battle of Gods movie.  Beerus tells them he wanted to know about the Super Saiyan God and they were rude.
