Supergirl (2010) # 64

By Mark Rodriguez A Harvard student named Alex created the Flyover App that would track superhero sightings and make it easy for him to send robots after them. Supergirl was attacked by these robots and brought Robin, Blue Beetle and Miss Martian along to investigate. Alex has captured the heroes and Supergirl is trying to rescue them. The final battle begins as Alex revealed himself to be the Cadmus project known as Dubbilex! "Good-Looking Corpse part 5" opens up with Supergirl trying to get back to her feet as Dubbilex monologues. He explains that he plans to use his Harvard friends as the bio-base for the next generation of drones. Blue Beetle and Robin are now under his control and are ready to attack Supergirl. Beetle blasts her and Robin tosses thermite grenades at her. Dubbilex says a few more of those and she will soon be able to spill everything about Superman. Dubbilex asks the Father AI what's the situation above ground. The computer says that Catherine Devere...

Supergirl (2010) # 63

By Mark Rodriguez A Harvard kid named Alex created the Flyover app that lets anybody report superhero sightings so he can send robot replicas of super villains after them. Supergirl tracked him down thanks to Robin and Blue Beetle, as well as Miss Martian who was sent undercover. Alex captured Miss Martian and has control over her, and sends her after Supergirl. After Blue Beetle sends off a sonic shockwave, Alex's computer teleports everybody away to his main lair. Supergirl was left behind as she was knocked unconscious by Alex's Kryptonian heat vision and landed out of teleport range. What will happen now? "Good Looking Corpse part 4" begins with Lois Lane sitting at the hospital waiting to hear on the condition of her informant, Catherine whose son was recently murdered thanks to Alex. The news on TV switches from the news to the recent incident at Harvard and show images of Supergirl knocked out. The nurse calls for Lois, as she is able to see Catherine now. Loi...

Supergirl (2010) # 62

By Mark Rodriguez A new villain named Alex has created an app called Flyover that allows anyone to report a superhero sighting. He then is able to send robots that look like supervillains after the heroes at their current location in hopes of killing them. Supergirl and Robin have already dealt with these random villains and now they head off to El Paso, as it looks like Blue Beetle is next! 'Good Looking Corpse Part 3' opens in Harvard University as Justin, David and Elise are headed towards a certain direction since 'a little voice in their head' told them to. They inform Alex via bluetooth that Harvard will be completely evacuated in twenty minutes. Alex says after the events in Gotham and El Paso he knew 'she' would be onto them. He finds it calculating and insulting that 'she' sent someone else to do her dirty work. He says he can still find this useful.  Justin, David and Elise all arrive at Alex's hideout and he tells the computer to have his...

Supergirl (2010) # 61

Mark Rodriguez A Harvard student named Alex created a new app called Flyover where people can post up any superhero sightings, in hopes that villains will kill the heroes. Supergirl rescued a guy that jumped off a roof and was attacked by Metallo, Kryptonite Man, Parasite and the Silver Banshee. She is quickly overwhelmed by their numbers. What will happen next?  'Good Looking Corpse Part 2' opens with Supergirl getting beat up by the villains while still being confused as to where they came from. The kids she rescued earlier filmed the beat down to earn more points on their Flyover app. Supergirl says it's a good thing that she's not camera shy as she gets a second wind and knocks the villains off her.  As Supergirl fights, Alex's friends continue to say he's crazy for wanting to kill her. Elise asks how he knew all the personal things about them that he tried to blackmail them with earlier. Justin asks what planet he's from. Alex says he's from Earth,...

Supergirl (2010) # 60

By Mark Rodriguez Some time before the New 52, March 2011 to be exact, DC comics did a thing where everyone got a cover featuring the main character up against a white background with their associated logo behind them. I picked up the Supergirl comic and it led to a cool story that featured a lot of other heroes. Let's check it out. 'Good Looking Corpse Part 1' opens in Harvard University with two students sharing lunch while checking out their phones (that sure hasn't changed nowadays). One of them ponders the fact that the Roman Empire caused a lot of atrocities back in its day but nowadays people think of the advances to civilization that dawned because of it. He says every time aliens try to invade the world, the superheroes chase them away without thinking of what new advances in technology they might have brought through their rule. The other student says he's talking about Supergirl, and she's an alien. The first student checks his phone and says 'it...
