The modern day X-Men team up and are ready to take them down. SHIELD finally gets involved and wants to shut down all the madness. Just then, XornJean then uses her powers to mess with the hellicarriers' defense systems and forces them to fire missiles down upon everybody. The story opens at the Cape Citadel Military Base where the X-Men brace themselves for the onslaught of missiles headed their way. Maria Hill is frantic asking who started the attack and her people tell her their systems started firing automatically. XornJean and Future Xavier try to maintain control of the defense systems but Future Phoenix attacks them. Just then one of the missiles lands near Kitty and Colossus, but it doesn't explode. The last issue had Future Deadpool fall to his death, and Future Xavier and Molly got impaled by Colossus and Illyana's Soulswords. How will this end as they challenge XornJean? Let's find out. The issue opens up with Modern-Day Cyclops suddenly standing in an empty white void with XornJean. Scott wants to send her back where she belongs, but XornJean says he doesn't want to send the young Jean back. The Future Kitty is revealed to be the future son of Wolverine and Mystique in disguise. And while they continue to apologize, Future Beast and XornJean seem pretty determined to send the Classic X-Men back to their time period no matter what the cost. Now Modern Cyclops has arrived with his gang and the real Future X-Men and a big battle is about to take place at the Jean Grey school. The issue opens with Cyclops' group standing out the Jean Grey School. Future Colossus tells Sentinel-X to take his baby self and Modern Jubilee to safety. X-Men from the Future arrive to tell the others they need to send the classics back home before something terrible happens. After a lot of fighting and arguing, Classic Jean reads the mind of Future Jean and is horrified by what she sees, so the Classics finally agree to go home. However, Magik sent Classic Beast and Iceman to the future and found another bunch of Future X-Men who prove the ones they know are not who they say they are. What happens now? Let's find out. By Mark Rodriguez Quite a bit happens in this issue.... but it's a very fast read due to all the splash pages, two page spreads and panels without dialogue. In case you're just tuning in, Beast brought the Classic X-Men from the first few issues of way back then to talk some sense into the modern day insane Cyclops. X-Men from the Future arrive to tell they have to return to their own timeline NOW. Classic Jean saw the future as she read the mind of the Future Jean and was horrified, deciding they have to leave. However, the Future X-Men are very suspicious in their actions, and Magik takes Classic Beast and Iceman to that same timeline to see a very different set of Future X-Men. This issue opens up a few years into the future as Beast, Rogue and Jean support Alison Blaire, Dazzler as being the first mutant president. By Mark Rodriguez While I've been enjoying this story, many have started to complain that it is moving along too slowly and not much is going on. I do admit, it's basically been about 4 issues of the X-Men arguing among themselves whether or not the Classic X-Men should be sent back to their own timeline or not, without really getting anywhere. I think this issue does bring in some action and advances a plot a little bit. This issue opens up with Classic Scott snapping out of being frozen by XornJean's mental powers. Modern Cyclops tells him that Xorn is actually future Jean Grey, the Classic Jean Grey all grown up since she never returned to her own timeline. While it looks like Emma, Classic Jean, the Cuckoos and XornJean are just standing there, they are actually having a psychic battle in their minds. Emma's powers aren't what they used to be, so she's using the Cuckoo's powers as a battery to keep her in the fight. Classic Scott wants...

A fight with the Sentinels has Classic Cyclops almost die, which almost wiped modern Cyclops from existence and rewrote history. After a brush with the Sentinels, Classic Cyclops is killed and modern day Cyclops starts to fade from existence. Luckily Classic Cyclops is quickly resurrected but proved that it was time to send the X-Men Classics back to their timeline. Just then, Future X-Men arrive to warn them that sending them back will be a horrible mistake!
