Comic Book Stash 9/4/2025

 By Mark Rodriguez

We decided to swing by Third Eye before the pull box got too piled up. I lost track of when Hush 2 ended, but just like I heard a few months back, this would lead to Batman getting a brand new number one issue. Also the comic based on the classic Spider-Man 90's series is here!!

Psylocke # 10-

I'll have to catch up to this one

Batman # 1 (2025) -

Another jumping on point as we get a fresh new number one. Hush 2 might have ended but Batman and Bruce Wayne are going to be challenged like never before!

All-New Venom # 10-

Emotions rise as Mary Jane and Venom finally hash it out.

Spider-Man 94 # 1-

Spider-Man The Animated Series is back, in comic book form at least. After getting Mary Jane back, what new adventures await them after 5 seasons of villains and adventures?

IDW TMNT # 11-

The Turtles might be reunited by the city is after them. This is the semi-last issue to wrap up the Jason Aron run. What will happen now as the Turtles are taken to court?

(Everything is Fine! It's) Gwenpool # 5-

Despite the title, everything is not fine and Gwendolyn still has problems with a killer Gwen Stacy.

Batgirl #  11-

Just like Pyslocke, I do have to catch up with this one.

West Coast Avengers # 10-

Based on the cover, it looks like Iron Man has seen better days.

The New Avengers # 3-

Based on the cover, it seems Hulk got out of control and everyone has to stop him.

We got quite the round up this time around. Between all the new comics we got last time and now Batman and Spider-Man 94, I have a whole bunch of 'issues ones' to jump in on.

AEW Women's Tag Team Cup Tournament The Deadly Draw- Final Match

By Mark Rodriguez Alright guys, so this is the final match between the Women's Tag Tournament, the Deadly Draw meaning that teams were made at random depending on what color chips they would select out of a drawing. The final match was between the Nightmare Sisters, Brandi Rhodes and Allie against the team of Ivelisse and Diamante, and it was shown Saturday, rather than Wednesday due to the NBA Play-Offs. The Match- The Nightmare Sisters (with Dustin & QT Marshall) VS Diamante & Ivelisse Due to the time constraints, the NBA game finished a half hour later than expected and the TNT Championship match was following this, so there wasn't time for a lot of shenanigans. Things started between Ivelisse and Brandi who started off with an exchange of armlocks and headlocks. Ivelisse tags Diamante in and after both ladies kicked her down and picked her up for a double slam. Brandi managed to tag Allie in who would quickly kick Diamante down. Diamante gets Allie in an armbar and...

SNK VS Capcom Chaos Volume 1

By Mark Rodriguez We'll be seeing a few crossovers this month, and we're gonna start with one based on a crossover videogame. If you think the Malibu SF comic series was kinda sloppy, this one was literally all action, pin ups and splash pages, and what little story in it is just plain weird. I'm talking about the SNK VS Capcom Chaos comics made by Happy Comics, translated by Japan and produced with supervision from both SNK Playmore and Capcom. But first a brief explanation on the game this was inspired from. In 2000, Capcom produced Capcom VS SNK Millenium Fight 2000 which would throw the fighters of Capcom and SNK at each other. Unfortunately, aside from Morrigan from Darkstalkers and Nakoruru from Samurai Shodown, the game felt more like Street Fighter VS King of Fighters. Capcom later made Capcom VS SNK 2 Mark of the Millenium with even more characters and variety as well as different modes of play. SNK made their own game, SNK VS Capcom Chaos and it offered a bit more...

Arachna# 1 Review *Spoilers*

By Mark Rodriguez Here's another awesome comic from independent artists that opened up an Indiegogo to get it started. I usually don't chip in unless it looks real good, like you just know they're gonna hit their goal. Arachna, a sexy superheroine with a split personality and an amazing art syle, sure looked like a good pick for me.  With lots of clever marketing in advance, even getting a person to dress as Arachna herself to bring the character to life, they hit their goal the same day they actually opened the Indiegogo for donations. I chipped in for the comic and the shirt, and here is my review on the latest superheroine that's bringing sexy back to comics, Arachna! Also note, while I'll try to keep my language as tame as I can, this book deals with way more adult stuff than I usually discuss on this blog. The Adventure Begins The issue opens with Jennie lying in bed naked in her apartment, a noticeable pile of sketches lying on the floor. She awakens to a voi...
