Black Widow has recently broken into the Alchemax building where they obtained a serum they were using to kill symbiotes. What happens now?   The issue opens at an auction that is selling weapons. As an item is sold for thirty million dollars, Natasha is attending the event in disguise. The auctioneer calls for the next item, but for this he calls in his colleague Dr, Frekk. Dr. Frekk explains that the biggest threat to the control over their sector of the world are symbiotes. He says lately there has been so many it feels like every other hero or villain has a symbiote, and that can't be good for business. Frekk reveals the vial of K42T, a serum that can control and neutralize a symbiote.    To show them how the serum works they first need to create a symbiote. By Mark Rodriguez Natasha Romanoff, the Black Widow, has recently come in contact with a symbiote. In addition to the enhanced abilities symbiotes usually give their hosts, Natasha can send little symbiote spiders that can relay information back to her. After helping Hawkeye when he was framed for killing the Russian Minister, she now goes off on her new adventures while adjusting to her symbiote.   The issue opens with one of Black Widow's symbiote spiders sneaking towards the Alchemax building and one of the guards steps on it. He turns to see Black Widow leaping towards him as tons of symbiote spiders crawl all over him.      Black Widow tells the symbiote to hurry since Alchemax only has a vulnerability once a month. The symbiote spiders look into the guard's mind and sees that the people inside are conducting painful experiments on symbiotes. By Mark Rodriguez This min-series turned out to be an anthology of Black Widow running into several heroines of the Marvel Universe through different stages of her life. So far she had an encounter with the Enchantress when she was a still a girl training in the Red Room, she worked with the Wasp in the early days of her being an Avenger, and she was sent to investigate Miss Marvel when she first made her appearance. This time she'll be running into Storm. I bought the first three issues over at Bent Wookee during one of the Free Comic Book Days and figured I'd eventually find issue 4 down the line. I actually find it while combing through the long boxes at a comic shop called 'Stories', so let's check it out. The story opens in current day New York as the Black Widow is telling Storm to make it rain as hard as she dares to.  By Mark Rodriguez I've been reading older Black Widow runs and the recent White Widow run. Let's see what Black Widow is up to nowadays in her latest run. It seems that this time Natasha has a symbiote.... 'Broken Arrow part 1' opens in Siberia as a man stumbled down a hill trying to escape from something or someone. He falls on his back and symbiote spiders start to crawl on his face, all of them eager to bite him. Black Widow tells them 'not yet', for the man still deserves a chance to speak for himself. Black Widow asks the man about the target he was paid to kill. She says he can either tell her, or her spiders will get the information for her. The man says the target he was looking for, Hawkeye, is dead. She asks the spiders to show her his mind, as they start to attack him. As the spiders morph back into pieces of the symbiote and return to her, she can now look into the man's memories. She sees Clint was in an explosion, but she won't believe it...

 By Mark Rodriguez While checking out several comics over at Bent Wookie, I found the first three issues of this four-part story. I held off until I could get the final issue so I can have the full story. Now that I found the fourth issue in a comic shop named Stories, let's check out what this story is about.  We start at the Ballant Compound in Rubtsovsk Russia as some military men hide in a room. Their trackers and other devices aren't working and the alarms have been disabled. Just then they see a man with a mask and they open fire, killing him. They realize he was one of theirs with black tape wrapped around his face. They see that he was used a decoy and the Black Widow leaps in and takes them all out. Widow reports to Ivan via earpiece that she might reach Gregor before he's aware of the attack. Ivan says it's doubtful because he knows they're aware of his rogue weapons dealings and he'll hide in his Red Room at the slightest warning.  Black Widow reacts ...

I got a bunch of shirts due to lots of Hot Cash that I got from Hot Topic, and that's not counting what I would normally get from Geek Fuel Box and the ProWrestlingCrate. But hey, it's my birthday month so I might as well indulge myself a little. I'm probably the last person to be trusted with a Hot Topic credit card, but there we go.
