A review of a few random Women's Matches (Intergender Matches as well) Black Label Pro, Beyond Wrestling & GCW

By Mark Rodriguez If there's one thing I grew to love while watching Rise Women's Wrestling was my love for the indies. There's just something raw about it, something that despite having its fare share of silly shenanigans, sometimes hits a bit more 'real' than what you see on TV. One downside though, is that a lot of these promotions were forced to shut down and postpone events due to the current pandemic, and the indie stars don't have WWE or AEW to back them and pay them in their downtime. While I'm not 100% this was the first weekend to start things going again per say, it was a big weekend for the return to the ring for two of my favorite stars, Priscilla Kelly and Elayna Black, so here are some of their matches as well as other possible familiar faces. Please take note, this review will include intergender matches, meaning we're gonna see guys and gals fight it out, and I mean fight it out. These wrestlers only see each other as opponents so don&#

AEW Women's Tag Team Cup Tournament The Deadly Draw- Final Match

By Mark Rodriguez Alright guys, so this is the final match between the Women's Tag Tournament, the Deadly Draw meaning that teams were made at random depending on what color chips they would select out of a drawing. The final match was between the Nightmare Sisters, Brandi Rhodes and Allie against the team of Ivelisse and Diamante, and it was shown Saturday, rather than Wednesday due to the NBA Play-Offs. The Match- The Nightmare Sisters (with Dustin & QT Marshall) VS Diamante & Ivelisse Due to the time constraints, the NBA game finished a half hour later than expected and the TNT Championship match was following this, so there wasn't time for a lot of shenanigans. Things started between Ivelisse and Brandi who started off with an exchange of armlocks and headlocks. Ivelisse tags Diamante in and after both ladies kicked her down and picked her up for a double slam. Brandi managed to tag Allie in who would quickly kick Diamante down. Diamante gets Allie in an armbar and

Mark Reviews- AEW Women's Tag Team Cup Tournament: The Deadly Draw Night 3 Semi Finals | 8/17/20

By Mark Rodriguez This is it, the final 4 tag teams will face in the semi final matches, and whoever wins will face off against each other to see who will be the first ever AEW Women Tag Team Champs! I honestly don't know how I haven't been spoiled just yet or accidentally ran into any of the women involved on social media posting either 'we won!' or 'we'll get you next time' so let me sit back and relax and watch this now before someone texts me saying "Hey Mark, did you see how so and so won that tag match?" Due to the NBA Playoffs, AEW Dynamite will be airing this Saturday Night instead of the usual Wednesday, and one of the matches will be the final match to decide this tournament. Since this will be live TV, I'll try my best with the play by play. Anyways, let's continue on to the road to get there. Semi Finals- Big Swole & Lil Swole VS The Nightmare Sisters- (Brandi Rhodes & Allie with Dustin Rhodes & QT Marshall ) After

Mark's Review on AEW Women's Tag Team Cup Tournament: The Deadly Draw Night 2 Quarter Finals | 8/10/20

By Mark Rodriguez The AEW Women's Tournament for the first ever Tag Team Champs continues. This is shown on Youtube every Monday evening and it comes with the theme where women must pick different colored chips to determine their tag partner. This means their partner is completely at random and might not be someone they can get along with, or already have personal beef with. Not only that, but we also see some surprise entrants besides the usual AEW Women Roster.  Rache' Chanel & Leva Bates (with Peter Avalon) VS Big Swole & Lil' Swole The match started off between Lil' Swole and Rache'. After a quick grapple between the ladies, Lil' Swole tripped Rache' down and got her into a leglock. She then went for an Armbar but Rache' was quick enough to roll away and grab onto the ropes.  Rache' tags Leva in but as they both discuss something, Lil Swole grabs Leva for a roll up pin. Rache' quickly pushes her off and now Lil Swole goes after her,

Mark's Review on AEW Women's Tag Team Cup Tournament: The Deadly Draw Night 1 Quarter Finals | 8/3/20

By Mark Rodriguez I've always been a fan of female wrestlers, especially nowadays since they are taken more seriously for their in-ring skill and awesome moves and not just their looks. Naturally, I do like how great someone like Alexa Bliss looks in their in-ring gear, but I also like seeing Cherry Bomb and Rose Mary beat the living crap out of each other while making me believe they actually can. I've taken a look at WWE's Mae Young Classic in the past but sadly, for some reason it seems to have been discontinued. It introduced me to a few ladies I follow to this day like Toni Storm, Priscilla Kelly, Deonna Purrazzo and Taynara Conti, and if WWE ever wants me back, making a third Mae Young Classic is the way to do it. So now AEW has their own Deadly Draw Women's Tournament in which the winners will be the first Women's Tag Team Champs. Being a big fan of AEW and being introduced to more up-and-comer female wrestlers, I just had to check to check it out. The first
