Top Ten Most watched videos on the VGM09 Channel

By Mark Rodriguez Like we mentioned before, our Youtube channel has the Video Game Masters show as the cornerstone, but we also do things like movie and comic reviews as well as occasionally mention news and updates related to gaming and other nerd-related hobbies. Here are the top ten most viewed videos as of 2026, excluding the VGM episodes since we already did a top ten on that. This gets pretty random, so let's check it out. 1- Mark Plays TMNT Legends- Out of the Shadows Mission  uploaded on Aug 31, 2016- 6,297 views   Mark tries to take on the Bay movie versions of Karai, Bebop and Rocksteady. Let's hope there aren't a lot of explosions. So this is the most viewed video on the entire channel, a playthrough of the BayTurtles movie sequel-themed stages on a phone app game. The most surprising thing is, a decade later the game is STILL alive. It stopped getting updates years ago, since it was based on the 2012 show which ended 2017, but it's still there. You can still...

Top Ten most Viewed Video Game Masters episodes as of 2026

By Mark Rodriguez While our long-running Youtube channel has done several things including movie reviews, let's plays, comic book reviews and other stuff, the main theme was our Video Game Masters show where Johnny and I cover old and new videogames. Now we'll go over the top 10 most watched VGM episodes ever. I've did a top five back in 2018 so I'll compare how many views were added since then. Also keep in mind, we are still a relatively small channel doing this more for the fun than for 'trying to make it big' on Youtube. 1-  VGM Episode 38- The King of Fighters 2001, 2002 and 2003 In 2018-  1,646 views  In 2026-  2,330 views   uploaded on  Dec 12, 2012   While Mark and Paige are away, Angel will play as Johnny and Rakiarmas try to review KOF 2001, 2002 and 2003. Still one of my favorite episode, and I liked Johnny carrying an episode mostly by himself. Rakiarmas was a guest star and Angel was a voice-over, so Johnny was the main host this tim...

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles- Battle Nexus # 1

By Mark Rodriguez Multiverses are everywhere nowadays. While the concept has been around for a while, nowadays the multiverses are more about different versions of long-running franchises running into each other. Where before it might be case of Batman running into an evil Batman or a cyborg Batman, now it would be more like Micheal Keaton Batman meeting Adam West Batman. This time the IDW Turtles enter the Battle Nexus and run into characters from different versions of the TMNT franchise. Let's see what happens!   "Battle Nexus" opens in the Battle Nexus, a floating asteroid located outside of space and time that hosts the most celebrated fighting tournament in all realities. The tournament was once a bloody gladiator contest between warriors plucked from their universes unwillingly. Currently the tournament has become respected and celebrated across the multiverse. Elite champions are recruited by the Dimensional Council which is overseen by Lord Simultaneous from the...

Mirage TMNT Issue 48 (TMNT Colored Classics Volume 3 Issue 1)

By Mark Rodriguez Before the cartoons, the toys and live action movies, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles first appeared in the Mirage comics. Over the years the original volumes have been re-printed several times, especially under the IDW label. I picked up the first issue of what IDW calls TMNT Colored Classics Volume 3, even though it was still part of Mirage volume 1. This one deals with Casey Jones and his personal demons, which leads to another vigilante coming after him. Let's see how this goes. "Shades of Grey" starts with Casey running across the rooftops of Springfield and Leo, Raph and Mike getting ready to chase as part of some game. Don opts out since he wants to debug some systems he's working on and Raph considers it a weak excuse. Splinter allows Don to stay and the Turtles head off. Splinter explains that April will drive the Turtles to the Memorial Bridge where Casey already has a three hour head start. If they haven't found him by 1AM, he will ...

Bebop and Rocksteady Destroy Everything # 3

By Mark Rodriguez Bebop and Rocksteady stole a time scepter from Savanti Romero and after running into the Turtles and Renet, went back to the year 2000, running into their past pre-mutated human selves. Both the human and mutant Bebop and Rocksteadys go through time in their Foot Cruiser, running into another pair of them in another car. They both appear in front of the Turtles and Renet and crash into each other. One pair of human Bebop and Rocksteadys didn't survive the crash, so the surviving mutants ran into the car of the other 4 and they all escaped through time, all in front of the very shocked and confused Turtles and Renet. Mikey freaks out and asks Renet if they were sent to the crazverse, which she says she wouldn't take them there. Leo is worried that Renet just confirmed that there is a crazyverse, while Renet and Don explain time travel theories as to what happened. Savanti Romero arrived where they are now and had the scepter stolen from him by Bebop and Rockst...

Bebop and Rocksteady Destroy Everything # 2

By Mark Rodriguez The Turtles find fossils of Bebop and Rocksteady in a museum and Renet shows up. They go after the mutant duo in Rio de Janeiro who use the time scepter they apparently took from Savanti Romero to escape. They then end up in New York City but back in the year 2000 and run into their younger pre-mutated selves. Let's see what happens. Renet and the Turtles are wondering what to do now and Leo asks why Renet thought it was weird to see Bebop and Rocksteady's bones in their timeline. Renet explains when you time travel, you change the universe you visit, so you can no longer return to the exact time you came from. The fossils must belong to another Bebop and Rocksteady from some other timeline. Don asks is they took the scepter from Savanti Romero, then where is he now? Renet and the gang decide to go back to the Cretaceous Period and find him. Meanwhile back in the year 2000, Bebop and Rocksteady rock out with their younger selves. They hang out and talk for a ...

Bebop and Rocksteady Destroy Everything # 1

By Mark Rodriguez Bebop and Rocksteady have always been everyone's favorite henchmen when it came to the TMNT. Even though other series gave Shredder assistants like Tatsu, Tokka, Rahzar, Hun, Karai, Fishface and Dogpound, this mutant duo will always be the favorite. IDW did a great job of making them nearly unstoppable threats, while still keeping their trademark stupidity and incompetence. I mean a few years back would you have believed that there was a comic where Rocksteady beat Donnie to death with a sledgehammer??? Well, their first IDW one-shot dealt with their mutation and their first missions for the Foot. Now let's see what other trouble these mutant morons can get themselves into. The story begins within the Mirage Universe as Savanti Romero gets defeated by the Turtles and Renet. Savanti gets banished through time, losing his wife, his body and everything. He is then visited by two very unlikely time travelers, Bebop and Rocksteady.   Elsewhere, in modern day, Don...
