Udon Street Fighter Comics Street Fighter Legends Ibuki # 4

By Mark Rodriguez Our favorite ninja schoolgirl Ibuki balances life between...well... being a ninja and a schoolgirl. Her latest mission was to challenge Oro, and even though she lost the match, just being brave enough to challenge the master Street Fighter was enough to pass her test. As they head back, Ibuki, Sarai, Makoto and Elena are all captured by the Geki ninja clan!!! How will this story end? The issue opens with Elena complaining about their dishonorable attack. The ninjas plan to take Ibuki to their boss and kill the rest. Makoto gets pissed and punches her way through the net. Ibuki tries to cut it further and then her ninja friend comes in with a bunch of Tanuki that help cut the net up completely. With the Street Fighter girls free, they all start kicking ass. The ninjas are quickly defeated, but Ibuki notices that her village is on fire and under attack and she leads the girls in for the rescue. Ibuki and the gang arrive to help take down the ninja clan. However, one of ...

Udon Street Fighter Comics Street Fighter Legends Ibuki # 3

By Mark Rodriguez Ibuki, the teenage female ninja Street Fighter balances both her life as a school girl and a ninja. She's also dealing with her new martial arts buddies Makoto and Elena, and a mysterious ninja that attacked her recently. Now her next mission is to challenge the legendary World Warrior, Oro! The issue opens with Ibuki sparring with Elena as Makoto and Sarai watch. Ibuki thinks of all the things her masters told her about Oro and loses her focus. Later that night she stresses over the fact that she couldn't even beat Elena and is expected to fight Oro. The next day Elena tries to cheer her up with coffee while Makoto tells her that Oro once defeated her father and some of his best pupils without any of them ever laying a hand on them. As Ibuki trains with her ninjas as her sensei tells her to keep her focus. Ibuki finally breaks down, overcome by all the pressure she faces both at school and her ninja clan and she runs off. Ibuki cries as she texts Sarai about ...

Udon Street Fighter Comics Street Fighter Legends Ibuki # 2

By Mark Rodriguez Ibuki has quite an interesting life, juggling her life as a schoolgirl and a ninja. Not only was she openly challenged to a fight by the fight-obsessed Makoto, she also got got attacked by a member of the Geki Ninja Clan. To complicate matters, Elena got accepted to study in Japan, and will soon enroll in the same school as Ibuki and Makoto. Will her appearance complicate things? Let's see. Makoto trains in her dojo, while admiring her list of dojos she's challenged. Ibuki is spying on her and reveals herself to the Rindoukan Master. Makoto strikes her down and mentions the fight she skipped out on. Ibuki says she doesn't want to fight because she doesn't want the kids at school to know she's a ninja. She just wants to be a normal girl. Ibuki mentions she made a promise to keep the fact that she's a ninja secret, which is why she's allowed to study in a normal school. Makoto respects that since she has her own oath, to show her father that ...

Udon Street Fighter Comics Street Fighter Legends Ibuki # 1

By Mark Rodriguez We've already seen Sakura's first 4-part story which dealt with a lot of characters from the Alpha games and Rival Schools. Now we're going to look at Ibuki, the adorable ninja girl from the Street Fighter III series. She's also appeared in Street Fighter 4, Street Fighter X Tekken and Street Fighter 5.  She's also a schoolgirl, so like Sakura, she has to mix in her ninjitsu training with classes. The issue starts with a Geki ninja reporting that they are close to finding the Enjo village, but the clan doesn't care until they get results. Then they move on to kill one of their enemies. Meanwhile Yuta goes to wake up Ibuki, and finds her sleeping pet raccoon instead. Ibuki is clinging to the ceiling and waiting to strike. Yuta manages to avoid her strike, and they both go to report to their sensei. Ibuki and Yuta train by balancing themselves on bamboo poles... when the schoolgirl ninja's cellphone goes off. Their master catches Ibuki before...

Udon Street Fighter Comics Street Fighter Legends Sakura # 4

By Mark Rodriguez After helping Rainbow Mika defeat Zangief in a wrestling match, Sakura Kasugano gets a challenge from her arch rival Karin Kanzuki, in anything she wants. Sakura goes for a hot dog eating contest, and Karin agrees in exchange for her next challenge to be at the format and time she chooses. Honda holds the contest and Sakura's friends notice that Karin was cheating by feeding all her hot dogs to her butler hidden under the table. Sakura, having stuffed herself silly, is in no condition to fight, so Karin declares that NOW is the time for her challenge and dashes at her with several men by her side. Sakura already considers this to be a losing battle and prepares to go down fighting. Suddenly, Karin gets bashed in the face by a volleyball. Sakura's friends aren't gonna take this sitting down, and Karin angrily sends her men after them instead. Natsu and Hinata do their tag team move, and the volleyball gal takes most of the men down with her Volleyball Armag...

Udon Street Fighter Comics Street Fighter Legends Sakura # 3

By Mark Rodriguez Sakura had recently watched Rainbow Mika wrestle live, and actually helped her defeat Zangief. A few days later... just when everything returned to normal, Karin Kanzuki arrives in a helicopter and challenges Sakura to a rematch. Let's see what happens. The issue opens with Dan about to face off against Sakura. Just as Dan dashes in to attack, Sakura tosses a huge red gem at him. Dan is confused and then sees several red gems fall from the sky, until eventually a giant-sized one squishes him. He wakes up in the hospital, and ironically the person sitting next to him is playing Gem Fighter. The nurse turns on the TV for him and it's showing media coverage of Karin's helicopter entrance. Karin challenges Sakura to a rematch and the 'headbanded wondergirl', as the news reporter called her, tells her she's too busy with her training and doesn't have time to keep beating her over and over again. Karin says Sakura is scared of embarrassing hersel...

Udon Street Fighter Comics Street Fighter Legends Sakura # 2

By Mark Rodriguez Inspired by a webchat with Ryu, Sakura decides to find new and different fighers so she can learn and adapt from their fighting styles. She drags her friend Kei along to watch Rainbow Mika fight against Zangief. After Mika wins the battle, Sakura and Kei meet her for autographs, but suddenly Zangief, not understanding the showmanship of American wrestling/Sports Entertainment (cause I guess in Russia it's real?), comes in looking for a rematch!!! This issue opens with a flashback as Dan interrupts a training session between Gouken, Ryu and Ken, demanding he take him back as a pupil. Gouken says there isn't room for some as prideful and vengeful as him in his class, and Ken add in 'and besides, you suck'. Dan challenges Ryu and Ken to a fight, at the same time, and Gouken agrees that if he can beat them both, he can return as his pupil. The fight of Ryu and Ken VS Dan goes pretty much as you'd expect, with the duo juggling him in mid-air with their ...

Dan follows her around claiming to her sensei, and by default, that makes her a friend of Blanka. She's friends with a girl named Kei and Hinata from the Rival Schools series (Sakura even cameos in that game), and she has a rival named Karin. Let's see what adventures Udon has in store for her. The issue starts with Dan challenging Sakura to a fight, saying he has a lot to teach her. Sakura beats the living hell out of him, while Dan in his usual delusions considers that he gave her the win. Dan ended up in the hospital after that match... We see that Dan is telling this story to some kids... that are even wondering why he's talking to them. He says he must have a rematch with Sakura and possibly make her his student... and then he rolls away. The next day, Sakura is speeding on her bike being late for school. Sakura barely makes it on time and...
