Mae Young Classic 2018- Round 1 Part 4- Sept 26, 2018

By Mark Rodriguez The first round continues in the second Mae Young Tournament. It's been pretty cool so far, so let's check out the last few matches for the first round. Last time we saw Toni Storm win her match to advance as well as the return of Kaitlyn. Who else will advance to the second round? Match 1-  Rachel Evers VS Hiroyo Matusmoto Both women started rather evenly matched, with nothing working on the other until Hiroyo finally shoulder tackled Rachel down. Even though Rachel managed to pull a power slam on her, Hiroyo nailed her with a missile drop kick off the turnbuckle that knocked the wind out of her. From there Hiroyo 'The Lady Godzilla' would leave Rachel hanging on the ropes as she'd press her foot against her. She'd then hit Evers with a running crossbody as well as a double knee off the top turnbuckle. Rachel finally turned the tide by getting of on an attempted slam and hitting Hiroyo with a power bomb. Rachel would try to win

IDW TMNT # 32 Northampton Part 4

By Mark Rodriguez After the events of City Fall, the Turtles and their friends are forced to retreat to April's farmhouse in Northampton. While Leo slowly recovers from Shredder's brainwashing, they also learn to trust Apolex, the mutant Arctic fox that was also running from the Foot after turning on their leader. Just then they are attacked by Koya, Shredder's mutant hawk and Foot Assassins. Did Apolex betray them? Right off the panel of the last issue, Northampton part 4 starts with Leo and Koya facing off, before jumping into battle. Mike and Don are happy that 'the old Leo' is back, and their leader call them into the fight. Splinter happily fights alongside his sons, also happy that Leo is back to normal. Koya swoops by and slashes Leo across the shoulder. The Turtle says he's lucky it's not his throwing arm and he tosses several shuriken at Koya, one of them getting stuck in her neck. Don and Mike are beating back the Foot Assassins

Would a new Dragonball series be too out of control? *slight Dragonball Super spoilers*

By Mark Rodriguez Everyone is excited about the new DragonBall Super movie coming later this year that will bring Brolly into official canon in the world of Super Saiyan Blue and Golden Freeza. There were rumors saying that when the Dragonball Super anime ended, all focus would go onto the upcoming movie and there might possibly be another series afterwards. My question is where can they possibly go from here? To get a better idea of what I'm talking about, let's take a look at how Goku's power escalated over the years. I do have to say, this article might have some spoilers if you haven't seen all of Dragonball Super yet since the Universe Survival Arc just started airing the dub version. Honestly though, seeing Freeza in the new Brolly movie trailer is already a bit of a spoiler, but still, be warned of spoilers. Dragonball started as a comedy adventure series in which Goku, Bulma and their friends would travel the world to collect the magical Dragonballs, ma

The Power Team (Throwback Thursdays)

By Mark Rodriguez We already discussed Video Power, so now let's discuss the cartoon that took up most of the show. Join Johnny Arcade as he leads the Power Team to stop Mr. Big's evil plans. Also how they made a game about cops blowing up drug dealers into a kid's show. Before getting into the cartoon, I'm gonna put on my VGM cap for a bit and give a brief look at the games featured the most on this show... namely NARC. This was a two-player shoot-em-up arcade game made by Midway as you control Max Force or Hit Man to take down Mr. Big's drug organization. Along the way you either arrest or shoot down drug dealers and earn points for confiscating ganja (Johnny and I laughed at the Ganja Bonus). You could also use a missile launcher or drive a sports car equipped with missiles. The game also featured an insane clown that would kidnap and stab prostitutes while hanging around a triple X book store. Good times. NARC was one of the first 'overly-vi
