 By Mark Rodriguez Last time, Metalhead went haywire after he hooked himself up to Mondo Gecko's game console. Mondo called the Turtles for help. Michaelangelo used videogame logic and managed to shut Metalhead down. As things wind down, the Turtles and Mondo are suddenly captured by the geese villains that April ran into in a previous adventure.  What will happen next as the comic book series comes to a close? "It's Fowl Over" opens at the sewer lair as April tells Splinter what happened. She says that evil geese from another dimension have kidnapped the Turtles so that she can give them a magic rock in exchange. Splinter says things were easier when all they had to worry about were Krang and the Foot Clan. April explains some time back she was zapped away to another world that resembled World War II era Earth but with anthropomorphic birds instead of humans. The evil geese were looking for a gem called the Heart of K'Avila which could answer any question asked ...

 By Mark Rodriguez  So this time around it seems the series is releasing a 'monthly DLC road map' where one character gets a new costume every week (Thursday) rather than the hundred-dollar season sets they used to give out for the classic DOA 6. I'm guessing if you were add up three month's worth of DLC it would be close to a hundred bucks or over, but at least you don't have to buy everything. I'll try to give the rundown on what each months provides and general thoughts. As you know, the costumes are sold in sets of four, roughly 21 bucks for the set or 8 bucks a piece. Despite each outfit having a different name, they are all the same outfit but in different colors. In this case we also got a new character thrown into the mix.  Lei Fang's Luminous Shadow Bundle- Lei Fang was the first to get a new costume, September 3rd. We still don't have Street Fighter Masters Ken, but we did get the new Juri book. We also got the final issue of Saturday Morning Adventures TMNT, which as you know was based on the classic 80's cartoon.   TMNT Saturday Morning Adventures # 41- The final issue of the series.  By Mark Rodriguez So today was Batman Day, where most comic shops were giving away a free Batman comic along with a mask. You also get 10-20% any Batman or Batman related book (Detective, Batgirl, Nightwing, etc). We were in the mood to hit the town so we went to more than one Third Eye, Stories and Alpha Comics. Let's check out what we got.   Avengers Armageddon # 4- The story continues and we get a cool variant cover based on Marvel Tokon. DC X Sonic the Hedgehog Metal Legion #  5- The second Sonic/DC crossover continues as Robotnik sided with the Legion of Doom. Superman # 127- I was lucky enough to find some of these in the wild at one of the Third Eye locations.  Superman # 134- Superman Blue and Superman Red team up alongside other heroes like the Flash and Martian Manhunter  Superman # 135- Two stories in one, one featuring Superman Blue while the other sets the spotlight on Superman Red. By Mark Rodriguez So finally Dead or Alive 6's first new character Minato is out! Like I said, I finally purchased the game since we have something new and it also happened to be on discount. I still wish this was still just an upgrade to the original game. As of now there is literally nothing different other than a few new costumes, Minato and that 'Oboro' effect on only one pre-existing stage.    So as her story goes, she's a friend of NiCo and is helping try out some new lenses called the R-MN-T device. This allows her to copy moves of the fighters she encounters. She combines this with her own dance moves. Right off the bat I can see she has Lisa's break-dancing spin-kick and Kasumi's forward flip attack. There have been some complaints that if you count Honoka, and the OG Raidou, that's three characters that combine pre-existing moves in the same game. Plus after all the hoopla regarding this 'new' game, the fact the first actual brand new thing...

Queen Morrigan ceded the throne to Lilith as they send teams of Street Fighters and Darkstalkers to protect the citizens from the demons and monster of the Makai. The spell to switch ownership of the throne to Lilith has made Morrigan feral. The Makai energies have also had odd effects on Charlie, Cammy, Menat and John Talbain. What will happen next? "Hunter Killers" opens in the palace's main room where all of the humans being kept safe from the madness happening outside of Castle Aensland. John Talbain transforms into his werewolf form but is completely feral this time. Maggio sees this and runs off to find Menat.   Menat is in an underground parking garage, thinking she made a wrong turn somewhere. As she heads to the surface she can sense several eyes on her.  By Mark Rodriguez So I got quite a haul from Hipcomic, thanks to those live auctions. I was a bit nervous when one package came with 2 out of the 4 comics I ordered, but they came with another package. It was the same seller so maybe it was just way too comics to fit in one package. I found some cool stuff from the 90's. Let's take a look.   X-Force # 1- Cable leads the team of Shatterstar, Ferla, Boom-Boom and others. This was one was tough to find because there is a variant that comes with a free collectible card and sealed in plastic. Ironically I did NOT want to buy that one since I intend to actually read it someday which would involve breaking the plastic bag. I just can't do it, so I found the regular version. X-Force # 2- Deadpool is in this one, but this might be the earlier 90's version before he became the 4th wall-breaking madman we know today. X-Force # 3- The team takes on the Juggernaut. The hits keep on coming. And hey, is that Spider-Man? X-Force # 4...

 By Mark Rodriguez A chunk of Chicago has been warped to the Makai world and vice versa.  Queen Morrigan ceded the throne to Lilith as several Darkstalkers and Street Fighters set out to help the citizens. The energies of the Makai have started to affect people. Cammy and Charlie suddenly start kissing. Menat rebels against Rose and sets out to help in the fight, despite her mentor's warnings. Menat is soon overwhelmed by all the demons and monsters. What will happen next? "Rogues" opens with BB Hood facing off against Victor. BB Hood backflips as she opens fire but she is grabbed by the huge Frankenstein-inspired monster.  Victor is angry that she hurt him. BB Hood aims her gun to his face and says the hurt has just begun. Victor is about to punch BB Hood but Gill grabs his fist. He says doing so would be unwise. Victor drops BB Hood and angrily takes several swings at Gill, who easily dodges them all. Gill freezes his feet to the ground and says they have better things...

 By Mark Rodriguez Portals have opened up in the world of the Makai and in Chicago in our world. While the Makai get a Taste of Chicago, Chicago also gets a chunk of the demon world. Queen Morrigan has enlisted the aid of several fighters including Felicia, John Talbain, Cammy, Charlie and Gill to help out. Morrigan cedes the throne to Lilith, since one is needed to rule while the other is needed in battle. However, Morrigan turns feral, and while the new Queen Lilith seems just, she hears whispers from some sort of shadow creature only she can see. What will happen next?    "Dark Love" opens with Felicia and Talbain leading several children to Lilith's castle where they'll be safe. Talbain is seen nursing a wound. Talbain is seated by Felicia and he is currently in a half-human/half-wolf form. A kid is surprised, and Talbain assures him that Felicia is safe. The castle has become a large sanctuary for the displaced humans. Talbain apologizes for his current appearan...
