Mark's Top 5 Favorite Wrestling shirts 2018

By Mark Rodriguez

Most people that I hang with know I'm into wrestling, mostly due to me wearing some cool shirts. While I do shop the WWE shop for deals, I usually get 2 shirts almost every month from ProWrestlingCrate, or straight from the ProWrestlingTees site itself. I decided to list my personal top 5 favorite shirts for the time being.

Johnny's been racking up a cool collection of wrestling shirts as well
Some of these shirts are pretty new, and some have been long-time faves of mine. Let's take a quick look. Maybe some of these shirts are some you might own as well. Now these shirts, except for number one are in no particular order because I love these them all almost equally.

5- Bray Wyatt shirt- The New Face of Fear

This is one of my all-time favorite shirts related to one of my favorite WWE guys, Bray Wyatt. I just wish they'd give him the push he so rightfully deserves as the New Face of Fear. What I particularly love about this shirt is that the design is just so damn awesome, that regardless of not being into wrestling, it just looks awesome. I've been told many times that I have an awesome shirt without ever hearing of the guy. Follow the Buzzards with this shirt.

The cool thing is it also says 'The New Face of Fear' on the back too. WWE shirts that go all out on the design always get kudos from me.

4- American Nightmare- Cody Rhodes

An awesome shirt representing Cody Rhodes and the Bullet Club. To say that Cody Rhodes became a superstar when he joined Ring of Honor is an understatement. This one comes from Pro Wrestling Tees, but since they got a recent deal with Hot Topic, I ran into it in the store one day and got it at a discount. I just love the design, and it has a Bullet Club logo on one of the sleeves. With the Bullet Club about to be renamed to The Elite and some of the members leaving, it's a good time to snag up any Bullet Club related merch. I also got myself a Bullet Club beanie at Hot Topic.

3- Goldberg- Legendary Devastation

Goldberg was one of my favorites from the WCW days and it was surprising to see him not only return to WWE a few years back, but also defeat Brock Lesnar in a matter of minutes. I knew he would get new merch so I was on the lookout. I love this slightly longer-sleeve version of a similar shirt because it's a tad warmer for the colder weather. I also got a regular tee and a Goldberg beanie I wear often.

2- The SHIELD- SHIELD United

This one might be cheating because I just got it, but I just had to get myself a SHIELD shirt while I could since they just broke up. This one has the arms of Rollins, Ambrose and Reigns, showing off their different symbols as they do the SHIELD pose. I always go for shirts that are more than just a logo so I just had to grab this one. Maybe they'll one final SHIELD reunion once Reigns returns. The back of the shirt also have the words Sierra, Hotel, India, Echo, Lime and Delta.

1- nWo shirt

This one will always be my all-time favorite wrestling shirt. Just gotta love the nWo and rather than some cool drawing or whatever, this is the same kind of shirt the members of the nWo wore. This was the first ever shirt I bought from the WWE shop once I got back into wrestling. It's nWo 4 life and I will always be a fan. You just can't beat the sudden Hogan heel turn at Bash at the Beach when he turned out to be the mysterious third man helping out Hall and Nash.

Of course another reason to love this shirt was that Johnny and I got to wear it alongside the actual Hall and Nash. In a moment of sheer awesomeness, it felt like we were actually members of the New World Order for a bit. Sadly we did miss the big nWo reunion at Hogan's Beach Shop this past October, but it is cool that we got to meet Hall and Nash.

With me getting 2 new shirts almost every month, this list o favorite shirts is bound to change eventually. There are tons of honorable mentions, but one thing I do like to point out is for the most part, I love shirts that have either cool designs or images of the actual superstars. There are a lot of shirts that are just a random catchphrase or a very small simple drawing on big empty shirt, and I don't even bother with those. The nWo shirt is a bit of an exception because the gang actually wore them and also the logo is rather large on the shirt covering the full chest area.

I also like shirts that have montages of superstars on them. I own a shirt related to Wrestlemania 32 that had the stars that were in the main events, and I have a WWE Live shirt coming in the mail that jam packs most of the stars on it. The last thing I like to say is that, despite my top 5 here being all black shirts, I also go for shirts that are some other color that isn't just the usual black all the time.

Who knows what other shirts I will get.. and how I will fill them in my already over-expanding wardrobe. One thing for sure, I need to get me a Tessa Blanchard shirt. In case you're wondering, Paige mostly has Roman Reigns shirts as well as Becky Lynch and Asuka, and Johnny has mostly Seth Rollins shirts.

Arachna# 1 Review *Spoilers*

By Mark Rodriguez Here's another awesome comic from independent artists that opened up an Indiegogo to get it started. I usually don't chip in unless it looks real good, like you just know they're gonna hit their goal. Arachna, a sexy superheroine with a split personality and an amazing art syle, sure looked like a good pick for me.  With lots of clever marketing in advance, even getting a person to dress as Arachna herself to bring the character to life, they hit their goal the same day they actually opened the Indiegogo for donations. I chipped in for the comic and the shirt, and here is my review on the latest superheroine that's bringing sexy back to comics, Arachna! Also note, while I'll try to keep my language as tame as I can, this book deals with way more adult stuff than I usually discuss on this blog. The Adventure Begins The issue opens with Jennie lying in bed naked in her apartment, a noticeable pile of sketches lying on the floor. She awakens to a voi

SNK VS Capcom Chaos Volume 1

By Mark Rodriguez We'll be seeing a few crossovers this month, and we're gonna start with one based on a crossover videogame. If you think the Malibu SF comic series was kinda sloppy, this one was literally all action, pin ups and splash pages, and what little story in it is just plain weird. I'm talking about the SNK VS Capcom Chaos comics made by Happy Comics, translated by Japan and produced with supervision from both SNK Playmore and Capcom. But first a brief explanation on the game this was inspired from. In 2000, Capcom produced Capcom VS SNK Millenium Fight 2000 which would throw the fighters of Capcom and SNK at each other. Unfortunately, aside from Morrigan from Darkstalkers and Nakoruru from Samurai Shodown, the game felt more like Street Fighter VS King of Fighters. Capcom later made Capcom VS SNK 2 Mark of the Millenium with even more characters and variety as well as different modes of play. SNK made their own game, SNK VS Capcom Chaos and it offered a bit more

Five Nights at Freddy's- How FNAF 2 Complicated the Lore

By Mark Rodriguez Five Nights at Freddy's.... a game series that started out by being a security guard trying to survive 5 nights at a pizzeria full of haunted animatronics that spawned lots of sequels. Now the latest one is looking like it's going to be about some of the animatronics actually trying to keep you safe from a serial killer that might have been brainwashed by a possessed VR game. What the hell? FNAF.... how it started and where it's going......  Here's a quick trip down memory lane over just how simple the story of FNAF seemed to be in the first game, and how the second game started the long path of the huge mess that we have now. Now when the first game came out back in 2014, creator Scott Cawthon had no way of knowing it would be a smash hit with lots of sequels. In fact, it was a bit of a last desperate attempt to make it in the gaming business. It's hard to believe nowadays, but had FNAF failed, Scott would have given up working on video games and
