My January 2021 Shirt Haul

 By Mark Rodriguez

Well true to my word, I'll be cutting down on shirt buying, I have enough to fill a closet on just what I bought last year alone. Looks like this month it's gonna be all wrestling. I didn't go for the Marvel Collector Corps box and the Geek Fuel Box isn't gonna make it on time. Let's check em out.

Jan. 22, 2021- ProWrestingTees Purchase

Brodie Lee- Exalted in Heaven

How could I not get this awesome shirt? I have to say, it's a pretty sweet design and a hell of a way to commemorate him. All proceeds for this shirt (and other Brodie Lee shirts) go to his family. To top it off, for that month CM Punk and Mick Foley also announced any of their merch sold will go the family of the late Brodie Lee.

Shanna shirt-

Shanna's latest shirt goes with her current Dragonball theme as we see the 4-star Dragonball represented there. Totally love the shirt, and Shanna has been wearing it a lot on her matches lately, so it's pretty cool.

Hikaru Shida shirt-

I wanted to take this chance to get a Hikaru Shida shirt and I opted to go for the first one she got. I do like the 'Holy Shida' shirt with the kendo sticks, but this one won since it actually showed her and she looks bad ass. Chuck actually beat me to this since he had bought this shirt  a lot earlier on than I did.

ProWrestlingCrate January 2021

Omega-Man shirt (Kenny Omega)

I love this shirt, not only is it a Mega Man reference but it also references a lot of Kenny Omega's gimmicks over the years. Some examples are Fighter Man, referring to when he cosplays as Akuma, Bullet Man, as he was part of the Bullet Club and Golden Man when he and Kota Ibushi were known as 'The Golden Lovers'. Love the shirt, love the references, clever all around and it's just a really cool shirt.

Plus it's blue, so by default, any shirt we get from the ProWrestlingCrate that isn't just black gets extra bonus points.

Good Brothers 4 Life

Pretty cool shirt of the Good Brothers, Gallows and Anderson, I have to admit. I never cared much for them personally, but hey, you get a good close-up of them, some imagery of them kickin' ass and them giving each other the 'too sweet' exchange. I do have to admit it's a very awesome shirt, I'd kinda like to see similar montages of other tag teams like the Outsiders or the Road Warriors on shirts like these.

My Opinions-

Overall, my favorite shirt of this month is the Omega Man shirt, since I just love the color, the look, and the clever references. Of the shirts I actually bought, I love the Brodie Lee shirt. I know this month was a bit lacking but I am trying to budget myself. The Geek Fuel Box is a bit delayed in the mail so it'll be February by the time it gets here. Depending on how soon the actual February box gets here, I might actually get two shirts next month. I also bought some Elayna Black shirts because with her going over to WWE, she will be closing down her shop at ProWrestlingTees, so I got em while I could. So more awesome shirts to come next month.

Arachna# 1 Review *Spoilers*

By Mark Rodriguez Here's another awesome comic from independent artists that opened up an Indiegogo to get it started. I usually don't chip in unless it looks real good, like you just know they're gonna hit their goal. Arachna, a sexy superheroine with a split personality and an amazing art syle, sure looked like a good pick for me.  With lots of clever marketing in advance, even getting a person to dress as Arachna herself to bring the character to life, they hit their goal the same day they actually opened the Indiegogo for donations. I chipped in for the comic and the shirt, and here is my review on the latest superheroine that's bringing sexy back to comics, Arachna! Also note, while I'll try to keep my language as tame as I can, this book deals with way more adult stuff than I usually discuss on this blog. The Adventure Begins The issue opens with Jennie lying in bed naked in her apartment, a noticeable pile of sketches lying on the floor. She awakens to a voi

SNK VS Capcom Chaos Volume 1

By Mark Rodriguez We'll be seeing a few crossovers this month, and we're gonna start with one based on a crossover videogame. If you think the Malibu SF comic series was kinda sloppy, this one was literally all action, pin ups and splash pages, and what little story in it is just plain weird. I'm talking about the SNK VS Capcom Chaos comics made by Happy Comics, translated by Japan and produced with supervision from both SNK Playmore and Capcom. But first a brief explanation on the game this was inspired from. In 2000, Capcom produced Capcom VS SNK Millenium Fight 2000 which would throw the fighters of Capcom and SNK at each other. Unfortunately, aside from Morrigan from Darkstalkers and Nakoruru from Samurai Shodown, the game felt more like Street Fighter VS King of Fighters. Capcom later made Capcom VS SNK 2 Mark of the Millenium with even more characters and variety as well as different modes of play. SNK made their own game, SNK VS Capcom Chaos and it offered a bit more

Five Nights at Freddy's- How FNAF 2 Complicated the Lore

By Mark Rodriguez Five Nights at Freddy's.... a game series that started out by being a security guard trying to survive 5 nights at a pizzeria full of haunted animatronics that spawned lots of sequels. Now the latest one is looking like it's going to be about some of the animatronics actually trying to keep you safe from a serial killer that might have been brainwashed by a possessed VR game. What the hell? FNAF.... how it started and where it's going......  Here's a quick trip down memory lane over just how simple the story of FNAF seemed to be in the first game, and how the second game started the long path of the huge mess that we have now. Now when the first game came out back in 2014, creator Scott Cawthon had no way of knowing it would be a smash hit with lots of sequels. In fact, it was a bit of a last desperate attempt to make it in the gaming business. It's hard to believe nowadays, but had FNAF failed, Scott would have given up working on video games and
