My February 2021 Shirt Haul

 By Mark Rodriguez

Alright so this time I did succumb to getting a few shirts, mostly due to the fact that Cora Jade shut down her older shirt shop over at ProWrestlingTees and also the fact that Hot Topic had some cool deals with shirts related to ProWrestlingTees. So um... yeah, ProWrestlingTees wins again.

February 1- Elayna Black shirts

Like you know, Elayna has been signed to WWE under the new ring name Cora Jade, so Big Daddy Vince will be in charge of any new merch going forward. So I bought these last 2 shirts before she would close up shop.

Freelance Wrestling Card shirt

I wasn't gonna buy this one originally, mostly because it looks very similar to another shirt she released when she got her newest (at the time) gear. I love the card design and I love the scenes in the background from her various matches. I would have bought this sooner if they used a different image front and center, but overall a cool shirt, so I went for it before it's gone forever.

'Fear the Old Blood' shirt

Here's a cool shirt I was gonna pick up eventually. I remember this was based on something she did in an actual match and a cool artist got inspired to draw it. I didn't wanna miss out on this one.

February 6, 2020- ProWrestlingTees/Hot Topic Haul

So Hot Topic had a cool deal with several shirts being 2 for 25 bucks and whatnot, and they recently added a new set of shirts associated with AEW, so I went for it.

Chris Jericho Le Champion

Here's a cool shirt I've been wanting for a while, so I decided to go for it. This one was out for a while and this as sometimes after Chris Jericho lost the AEW title but decided to keep the 'Le Champion' gimmick. I remember wanting to show this one off at work, so it musta been released before the current situation.

5 Decades Earned- Dustin Rhodes shirt

As as a fan of Dustin Rhodes, I've been waiting for a decent shirt relating to the guy. I also like the cool new blue face paint he's going with nowadays. The red looked cool but I like he can still something new with his look every now and then. I'm so glad he got to have a decent run in AEW

Holy Shida!- Hikaru Shida

I did mention that I've been wanting this shirt for a while, so now that it became available, I might as well go for it.

Geek Fuel Box- February 13, 2021 -Playstation Shirt

This month Geek Fuel devoted their entire box to the Playstation and things related to games on the Playsation. This includes this cool shirt that features 4 characters that most people remember during the PS1 days. We got Spyro the Dragon, Crash Bandicoot, Cloud Strife and Solid Snake. Pretty cool shirt, loving the design and colors, and this is probably gonna be the only shirt this month not related to wrestling.

Other cool things that came in the box was a Street Fighter HaDoKen-shaped throw pillow and some metal coasters that look like the Circle, Square, Triangle and X buttons from all the PS controllers. Averis got to keep that one.

Hot Topic- Gorillaz shirts- February 27, 2021

Looks like I spoke too soon in terms of non-wrestling shirts. I was in the mall and decided to check out Hot Topic. While nothing anime related caught my eye but then I saw some cool Gorillaz shirts. I always did like their music.

I liked this one, it's pretty cool. I also like how the characters get cooler clothes as time goes on. Takes me back to the days where MTV still played videos.

This one is just damn awesome. Not only are the guys looking cool and stylish, the shirt itself has sort of a dark tie-dye look to it that even extends to the sleeves. This one was just pretty sweet.

ProWrestlingTees shirts- February 28, 2021

The box came pretty late but still in time before the month was over. The shirts were pretty awesome too.

This Okada Rainmaker shirt is pretty awesome and a great way to show respect to one of the best in New Japan Pro-Wrestling.

Cody Rhodes The American Nightmare always has some awesome shirts and this time ProWrestlingTees got another one. The flaming skull with the red, white and blue is just a great design, even if you never heard of Cody or doesn't know this is related to wrestling.

My opinions-

There were a lot of shirts this time around, it was difficult to choose my favorite. I think of the ones I purposely bought, my favorite shirts was the dark tie-dye Gorillaz shirt and the Holy Shida shirt. Of the shirts I got from boxes that are surprises, the Cody American Nightmare shirt is the def winner. To be honest though, the Rainmaker shirt was also awesome, but til now I still haven't seen Okada in the ring myself, I'm way more familiar with Cody. Let's see what March brings.

Dragonball- It's time to go beyond Z or end it

By Mark Rodriguez So while the Dragonball Super anime has ended for a few years now, and the Dragonball Super Broly movie is over a year old as well, the Dragonball Super manga has actually continued past the Tournament of Power and  Super Broly movie. As this new arc, nicknamed the Moro Arc after its main villain is coming to a close, the question is where do they do from here? Also before you get into this article, I really hope you know your DBZ because there are just waaaaaay too many characters to take the time out to explain who everyone is one by one. Dragonball and Dragonball Z is one of the longest running anime and manga series since the 80's and while it seemed it was put to pasture after Dragonball GT ended in 1997, the only thing left was for the American dubs to catch up. Despite this the love and nostalgia for the series lived on with videogames and the occasional special here and there that would bring back the characters (like the Yo, Son Goku and his Friends Retu

Arachna# 1 Review *Spoilers*

By Mark Rodriguez Here's another awesome comic from independent artists that opened up an Indiegogo to get it started. I usually don't chip in unless it looks real good, like you just know they're gonna hit their goal. Arachna, a sexy superheroine with a split personality and an amazing art syle, sure looked like a good pick for me.  With lots of clever marketing in advance, even getting a person to dress as Arachna herself to bring the character to life, they hit their goal the same day they actually opened the Indiegogo for donations. I chipped in for the comic and the shirt, and here is my review on the latest superheroine that's bringing sexy back to comics, Arachna! Also note, while I'll try to keep my language as tame as I can, this book deals with way more adult stuff than I usually discuss on this blog. The Adventure Begins The issue opens with Jennie lying in bed naked in her apartment, a noticeable pile of sketches lying on the floor. She awakens to a voi

Five Nights at Freddy's- How FNAF 2 Complicated the Lore

By Mark Rodriguez Five Nights at Freddy's.... a game series that started out by being a security guard trying to survive 5 nights at a pizzeria full of haunted animatronics that spawned lots of sequels. Now the latest one is looking like it's going to be about some of the animatronics actually trying to keep you safe from a serial killer that might have been brainwashed by a possessed VR game. What the hell? FNAF.... how it started and where it's going......  Here's a quick trip down memory lane over just how simple the story of FNAF seemed to be in the first game, and how the second game started the long path of the huge mess that we have now. Now when the first game came out back in 2014, creator Scott Cawthon had no way of knowing it would be a smash hit with lots of sequels. In fact, it was a bit of a last desperate attempt to make it in the gaming business. It's hard to believe nowadays, but had FNAF failed, Scott would have given up working on video games and
