 By Mark Rodriguez Tonight we get to see Mei Suruga's first singles match in AEW. She's always been teaming up with her mentor Emi Sakura, so let's see what she can do on her own. We also get to see Diamante in action.  Match 1- Mei Suruga w/ Baliyan Akki vs Hyena Hera Mei walks right up to Hyena and gets all up in her face, showing she's not backing down despite the height difference. Hyena raises her arm to really showcase the size advantage and Mei responds by stomping on her foot. Mei goes for the test of strength since Hyena is down on her knees, but she stands up and slams Mei into the mat. Hyena pats Mei on the head and starts treating her like a kid. Mei suddenly bites down on her hand. Mei walks around the ring, holding onto Hyena as she screams in pain. Mei finally lets her go, flipping her across the ring as Hyena holds onto her hand. The ref points at Mei telling her that biting isn't allowed, and she almost bit into his finger as well. You just don'...

 By Mark Rodriguez This week Dark Elevation has two matches while Dark gets one, so I might as well put them together. We get to see more of Billie Starkz as she faces off against Yuka Sakazaki and also a Four on Four match! Kiera Hogan also sees some action. Match 1- "Magical Girl" Yuka Sakazaki vs Billie Starkz  The match starts with Billie finally getting a good clean handshake from Yuka. They grapple and try to take control of each other's arms. Billie gets Yuka in a cravat headlock. Yuka manages to get out of it and get her in a headlock takedown. Billie gets Yuka in a headscissors and she kicks out of it.  Yuka shoves Billie towards the top turnbuckle and runs at her. Billie moves out of the way leaving Yuka to hit the turnbuckle with her elbow. Yuka goes for the ropes and kicks Billie back when she tries to approach her. Billie tries again and grabs onto her leg, but Yuka pulls her in and wraps her legs around her neck. She leans backwards off the ropes, choki...

 By Mark Rodriguez January wraps up as we see some more matches from Red Velvet, Skye Blue and Yuka Sakazaki. Match 1- Sofia Castillo vs Red Velvet  Both women start to grapple and Red Velvet armdrags Sofia to the mat. Red Velvet gets her in a headlock takedown and Sofia counters by putting her head in a leglock. Red Velvet kicks out of this and gets her in an armdrag. Sofia manages to pick her up and slam her to the mat. Sofia starts taunting Red's 'stir it up' gesture. Red Velvet grabs her waist but Sofia hits her with a back elbow to get loose. Red Velvet manages to knock her down with a dropkick. She goes for the cover but Sofia kicks out. Sofia crawls up towards the ropes and Velvet starts throwing shots at her. Velvet gets her in a snapmare and then knocks her down with a single leg dropkick. She goes for another cover but Sofia shoves her off. Velvet runs at Sofia who keeps her back with a big boot. Sofia goes for the apron and uses the ropes to flip herself upside...

 By Mark Rodriguez This episode has Madison Rayne getting some in-ring action, and surprisingly, even Britt Baker DMD gets a match. This match in particular ended up affecting an upcoming match on AEW Dynamite. Match 1- Britt Baker vs Billie Starkz Both women grapple and Britt gets Billie in a headlock takedown and attempts a pin. Billie is able to escape. Britt goes for a second pin attempt that Billie kicks out of. The DMD then goes for a lateral press and another pin, but she still can't keep her down.  Billie grabs Britt and flips her upside down, but before she can do anything, Britt takes her down for another pin. This time Billie reverses for a pin of her own and Britt barely kicks out in time. Billie reaches out for a handshake and Britt agrees to it. As Britt pulls away, Billie doesn't let go and pulls her back in. Britt socks her with a forearm strike. Britt grabs her and hits her several times and then knocks her down with a running slingblade.  By Mark Rodriguez   This week we get two matches for Dark Elevation and one for Dark, so I'll put them in the same article. Emi Sakura joins Nyla and Marina once again, but we'll see how that goes with their current situation with Vickie Guerrero. We also see The Vipress return to Dark Elevation. Let's check it out.  Match 1- "The Native Beast" Nyla Rose, "The Problem" Marina Shafir & Emi Sakura w/ Vickie Guerrero vs Johnnie Robbie, Vipress & Zyra The match opens with Robbie facing off against Nyla. The Native Beast grabs Robbie and knees her in the midsection. She then swings her fist down upon her back. Nyla gets her in a headlock and drags her over to her corner where she tags in Emi. This surprises Marina who was expecting the tag.  Emi whips Robbie over to the ropes and hits her with a harsh chop to the chest. After delivering a second chop, she backs up and runs into her with the Flying Crossbody. Emi goes over to tag in Nyla, ignoring Mar...

 By Mark Rodriguez On Dark Elevation on the previous night, Marina Shafir showed up to challenge Athena for the Ring of Honor Women's Title. The big surprise was that this match would take place now, which is the following night. We'll also see Emi Sakura, Diamante and hey, Teal Piper is in this one too! Match 1- Emi Sakura & Diamante vs Ruby Soho & Willow Nightingale  The match open with Emi and Diamante attacking Willow and Ruby while they were still posing for the crowd. Diamante slips out of the ring and grabs onto Willow and Ruby's legs from the apron. Emi runs at them with a flying crossbody, knocking them both off the ring apron. Emi and Diamante pose for some tea. Diamante runs under Emi for a sliding dropkick off the apron but Ruby is ready for her and stops her with a punch.  Ruby grabs Diamante and slams her into the barricade. Willow starts attacking Emi and follows her outside of the ring. Ruby continues to hit Diamante and rolls her into the rin...
