By Mark Rodriguez So the first episode of the show kinda gave me an idea of what to expect from this hyper fast paced action shows about the Turtles using magical weapons against all-new enemies. This comic was my main objective for this year's Halloween Comicfest, but I was surprised it was a smaller book than the regular sized comic book. Oh well, let's take a look. The story starts with Raph and Leo balancing themselves on Mikey as he rides his skateboard and April holding on as Don flies using his Quadcopter attached to his high-tech shell down the nightly streets of New York. They're chasing the mutant former celebrity chef, Meat Sweats, as he had just stolen a food truck from April's boss to use as his new kitchen (and also stolen a pizza that April just made for the guys). I couldn't resist watching at least the first one, so brace yourself for intense spoilers. Again, if you want to wait until September, do NOT keep reading or you will be heavily spoiled. The episode starts with the Turtles and April looking like they're planning to attack some roof party that might have criminal activity. However, they're actually zip-lining to jump into a pool on the roof next door. After the Turtles have fun and decide to leave but Raph notices a little animal that seems scared and alone. This animal was being chased by two guys. The Turtles and April find the animal, and it warms up to April. The gang can't figure exactly what kind of creature it is, but the men arrive to take it. The men transform into mutant monsters riding mutated versions of their dogs. The Turtles and April try to fight them but...
