Happy New Years to all our fans

 By Mark Rodriguez

It's been quite a year for Wendy and me. Not only did we get married, we also were able to buy a house (after much effort, loans and a mountain of paperwork of course). We got to visit Vegas where I not only got to chill with my bro but we also saw the old VGM gang again.

We got several cool games and interesting movies this year. Lots of cool comics, both new and old. I finally got to complete my Power Girl collection and have set my sights on the Tomb Raider comics. The 80's TMNT continue to go strong in their comic series and we got a DC and Marvel crossover which we thought we'd never see again since the 90's. Doctor Doom ruled the world, and Batman has his on-going series and a rebooted number one series happening at the same time due to Hush 2 delays. Five Nights at Freddy's 2 was a fun movie, Fatal Fury City of the Wolves won Best Fighting Game of the year at the Game Awards and we found out that Chris Evans will be in the upcoming Avengers Doomsday movie. John Cena retired from WWE while AJ Lee made her big return to it. This year was wild.

Anyway, we want to thank you guys for reading the blog all this time and sticking by us all these years. You guys sure love our TMNT Saturday Morning Adventures reviews. After checking the analytics it seems our top reader base is in Singapore with the US very close behind. So that made us curious.

Let's have some of the readers sound off. While we don't expect you guys to name names, maybe drop a comment and tell us what country you're from. The cool thing about Blogger is that anyone can post a comment without the need to sign in or create a Google account (assuming you guys don't already have one). Feel free to let your voice be heard!

Thanks for reading and hopefully we have even more articles coming up in 2026!

AEW Women's Tag Team Cup Tournament The Deadly Draw- Final Match

By Mark Rodriguez Alright guys, so this is the final match between the Women's Tag Tournament, the Deadly Draw meaning that teams were made at random depending on what color chips they would select out of a drawing. The final match was between the Nightmare Sisters, Brandi Rhodes and Allie against the team of Ivelisse and Diamante, and it was shown Saturday, rather than Wednesday due to the NBA Play-Offs. The Match- The Nightmare Sisters (with Dustin & QT Marshall) VS Diamante & Ivelisse Due to the time constraints, the NBA game finished a half hour later than expected and the TNT Championship match was following this, so there wasn't time for a lot of shenanigans. Things started between Ivelisse and Brandi who started off with an exchange of armlocks and headlocks. Ivelisse tags Diamante in and after both ladies kicked her down and picked her up for a double slam. Brandi managed to tag Allie in who would quickly kick Diamante down. Diamante gets Allie in an armbar and...

SNK VS Capcom Chaos Volume 1

By Mark Rodriguez We'll be seeing a few crossovers this month, and we're gonna start with one based on a crossover videogame. If you think the Malibu SF comic series was kinda sloppy, this one was literally all action, pin ups and splash pages, and what little story in it is just plain weird. I'm talking about the SNK VS Capcom Chaos comics made by Happy Comics, translated by Japan and produced with supervision from both SNK Playmore and Capcom. But first a brief explanation on the game this was inspired from. In 2000, Capcom produced Capcom VS SNK Millenium Fight 2000 which would throw the fighters of Capcom and SNK at each other. Unfortunately, aside from Morrigan from Darkstalkers and Nakoruru from Samurai Shodown, the game felt more like Street Fighter VS King of Fighters. Capcom later made Capcom VS SNK 2 Mark of the Millenium with even more characters and variety as well as different modes of play. SNK made their own game, SNK VS Capcom Chaos and it offered a bit more...

Arachna# 1 Review *Spoilers*

By Mark Rodriguez Here's another awesome comic from independent artists that opened up an Indiegogo to get it started. I usually don't chip in unless it looks real good, like you just know they're gonna hit their goal. Arachna, a sexy superheroine with a split personality and an amazing art syle, sure looked like a good pick for me.  With lots of clever marketing in advance, even getting a person to dress as Arachna herself to bring the character to life, they hit their goal the same day they actually opened the Indiegogo for donations. I chipped in for the comic and the shirt, and here is my review on the latest superheroine that's bringing sexy back to comics, Arachna! Also note, while I'll try to keep my language as tame as I can, this book deals with way more adult stuff than I usually discuss on this blog. The Adventure Begins The issue opens with Jennie lying in bed naked in her apartment, a noticeable pile of sketches lying on the floor. She awakens to a voi...
