Comic Book Stash 7/9/2025

 By Mark Rodriguez

This time we swung over to Alpha Comics to grab a few issues that escaped Third Eye's notice. We also happened to get an extra comic purchased on ebay just in time.

Megaman Timelines # 1- A mini-series of stories based on the different iterations or Megaman. We start things off with the original Blue Bomber.

Darkstalkers X Street Fighter: Blood Throne #1- The latest in several Darkstalkers and Street Fighter crossing over. This time they have to work together to see how half of Chicago City ended up in the Darkstalkers world.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Saturday Morning Adventures# 26- Betrayed by Lotus Blossom, the Turtles have to get their portable dimensional portal back before Krang and Hob can use it to cause trouble!

TMNT Saturday Morning Adventures # 26 Review

Street Fighter Unlimited # 11- What I thought was a 10 issue series turned out to be a 12 issue series. Now that I got issue 11, I just need one more to complete the run!

Sailor V- Volume 1- Before there was Sailor Moon, there was Sailor V! Wendy just had to pick up this re-release regarding the adventures of Minako Aino which would lead to the inspiration of a legendary series. Fun fact: the Sailor V manga ended up finishing after the Sailor Moon manga.

This was a short haul, but it was mostly issues tied to the Saturday Morning Turtles and the Udon comics. I'm actually going to set up a pullbox at Alpha Comics for these particular comics. I'll leave Third Eye for everything else.

AEW Women's Tag Team Cup Tournament The Deadly Draw- Final Match

By Mark Rodriguez Alright guys, so this is the final match between the Women's Tag Tournament, the Deadly Draw meaning that teams were made at random depending on what color chips they would select out of a drawing. The final match was between the Nightmare Sisters, Brandi Rhodes and Allie against the team of Ivelisse and Diamante, and it was shown Saturday, rather than Wednesday due to the NBA Play-Offs. The Match- The Nightmare Sisters (with Dustin & QT Marshall) VS Diamante & Ivelisse Due to the time constraints, the NBA game finished a half hour later than expected and the TNT Championship match was following this, so there wasn't time for a lot of shenanigans. Things started between Ivelisse and Brandi who started off with an exchange of armlocks and headlocks. Ivelisse tags Diamante in and after both ladies kicked her down and picked her up for a double slam. Brandi managed to tag Allie in who would quickly kick Diamante down. Diamante gets Allie in an armbar and...

Arachna# 1 Review *Spoilers*

By Mark Rodriguez Here's another awesome comic from independent artists that opened up an Indiegogo to get it started. I usually don't chip in unless it looks real good, like you just know they're gonna hit their goal. Arachna, a sexy superheroine with a split personality and an amazing art syle, sure looked like a good pick for me.  With lots of clever marketing in advance, even getting a person to dress as Arachna herself to bring the character to life, they hit their goal the same day they actually opened the Indiegogo for donations. I chipped in for the comic and the shirt, and here is my review on the latest superheroine that's bringing sexy back to comics, Arachna! Also note, while I'll try to keep my language as tame as I can, this book deals with way more adult stuff than I usually discuss on this blog. The Adventure Begins The issue opens with Jennie lying in bed naked in her apartment, a noticeable pile of sketches lying on the floor. She awakens to a voi...

SNK VS Capcom Chaos Volume 1

By Mark Rodriguez We'll be seeing a few crossovers this month, and we're gonna start with one based on a crossover videogame. If you think the Malibu SF comic series was kinda sloppy, this one was literally all action, pin ups and splash pages, and what little story in it is just plain weird. I'm talking about the SNK VS Capcom Chaos comics made by Happy Comics, translated by Japan and produced with supervision from both SNK Playmore and Capcom. But first a brief explanation on the game this was inspired from. In 2000, Capcom produced Capcom VS SNK Millenium Fight 2000 which would throw the fighters of Capcom and SNK at each other. Unfortunately, aside from Morrigan from Darkstalkers and Nakoruru from Samurai Shodown, the game felt more like Street Fighter VS King of Fighters. Capcom later made Capcom VS SNK 2 Mark of the Millenium with even more characters and variety as well as different modes of play. SNK made their own game, SNK VS Capcom Chaos and it offered a bit more...
