Comic Book Stash 1/23/2026

 By Mark Rodriguez

This time we hit Alpha Comics where suddenly we had a bit of a stack to take home rather than just two or three comics. Not only did I have to catch up on the Ninja Turtles... it seems Udon finally released several of their comics that have been oh hold for months... all the same time. They actually released three different Mega Man series on the same day! Anyways, let's see what we got.

Darkstalkers X Street Fighter Rogues # 1- Part three of the Lords of the Makai storyline.

Tales of the TMNT # 3- Part three of the robot camp story as the rest of the Turtles show up to help Donnie and Metalhead take on Bishop.

TMNT Battle Nexus # 2- Leonardo goes up against the original Mirage Shredder!

TMNT Battle Nexus # 3- Raphael goes up against Alopex??

MegaMan X # 0- Separate from the Timelines one-shot series, this one is going to be a series.

Street Fighter Masters- Elena # 1- After a long-awaited delay, the Elena comic is finally here!

Street Fighter Masters- Guile # 1- Guile's long-awaited comic one-shot is also finally here!

Tomb Raider- Sacred Artifacts- A brand new 4-part mini as the OG Lara returns with new adventures!

Mega Man Legends Timelines # 1- Mega Man Legends gets its own one-shot. What adventures will happen here?

MegaMan ZX Timelines # 1- The Timelines one-shots continue with the MegaMan ZX series.

So this was a surprising turn of events. I went to Alpha to catch up on the TMNT Battle Nexus series, but I didn't expect Udon to catch up on their old projects and hit us with a Capcom avalanche!

So now that we got the one-shot based on Elena is her new Street Fighter 6 incarnation... how long will it be before we get one on the upcoming return of Alex?

If the power goes out during the snow storm, it's time to break out the candles and read some comics!

AEW Women's Tag Team Cup Tournament The Deadly Draw- Final Match

By Mark Rodriguez Alright guys, so this is the final match between the Women's Tag Tournament, the Deadly Draw meaning that teams were made at random depending on what color chips they would select out of a drawing. The final match was between the Nightmare Sisters, Brandi Rhodes and Allie against the team of Ivelisse and Diamante, and it was shown Saturday, rather than Wednesday due to the NBA Play-Offs. The Match- The Nightmare Sisters (with Dustin & QT Marshall) VS Diamante & Ivelisse Due to the time constraints, the NBA game finished a half hour later than expected and the TNT Championship match was following this, so there wasn't time for a lot of shenanigans. Things started between Ivelisse and Brandi who started off with an exchange of armlocks and headlocks. Ivelisse tags Diamante in and after both ladies kicked her down and picked her up for a double slam. Brandi managed to tag Allie in who would quickly kick Diamante down. Diamante gets Allie in an armbar and...

SNK VS Capcom Chaos Volume 1

By Mark Rodriguez We'll be seeing a few crossovers this month, and we're gonna start with one based on a crossover videogame. If you think the Malibu SF comic series was kinda sloppy, this one was literally all action, pin ups and splash pages, and what little story in it is just plain weird. I'm talking about the SNK VS Capcom Chaos comics made by Happy Comics, translated by Japan and produced with supervision from both SNK Playmore and Capcom. But first a brief explanation on the game this was inspired from. In 2000, Capcom produced Capcom VS SNK Millenium Fight 2000 which would throw the fighters of Capcom and SNK at each other. Unfortunately, aside from Morrigan from Darkstalkers and Nakoruru from Samurai Shodown, the game felt more like Street Fighter VS King of Fighters. Capcom later made Capcom VS SNK 2 Mark of the Millenium with even more characters and variety as well as different modes of play. SNK made their own game, SNK VS Capcom Chaos and it offered a bit more...

Arachna# 1 Review *Spoilers*

By Mark Rodriguez Here's another awesome comic from independent artists that opened up an Indiegogo to get it started. I usually don't chip in unless it looks real good, like you just know they're gonna hit their goal. Arachna, a sexy superheroine with a split personality and an amazing art syle, sure looked like a good pick for me.  With lots of clever marketing in advance, even getting a person to dress as Arachna herself to bring the character to life, they hit their goal the same day they actually opened the Indiegogo for donations. I chipped in for the comic and the shirt, and here is my review on the latest superheroine that's bringing sexy back to comics, Arachna! Also note, while I'll try to keep my language as tame as I can, this book deals with way more adult stuff than I usually discuss on this blog. The Adventure Begins The issue opens with Jennie lying in bed naked in her apartment, a noticeable pile of sketches lying on the floor. She awakens to a voi...
