Comic Book Stash 1/22/2026

 By Mark Rodriguez

We've been away from Third Eye for a while and we just had to go visit before that pull box stack got too high. Not only is this the first haul of the year, it's probably the biggest one we ever had so far. We have a lot of reading to catch up.

Spider-Man & Wolverine # 8- Spider-Man and Wolverine face off against Arachnix, a new villain with the combined powers of both.

Spider-Man & Wolverine # 9- The fight against Arachnix continues!

Batgirl # 14- The adventure continues.

Batgirl # 15- Things seem calm... for now...

Black Cat # 5- Looks like Black Cat is Wanted once again.

Black Cat # 6- Black Cat teams up with Daredevil.

Redcoat # 16- This one's for Wendy.

The New Avengers # 7- The adventures continue!

Sai Dimensional Rivals # 1- Based on the Marvel Rivals series, we see Sai, a variant of Psylocke, and her adventures across the multiverse.

Psylocke Ninja # 1- Taking place early in her career we see how Betsy first reacts to having her mind switched with that of the ninja assassin Kwannon.

Spider-Man 94 # 4- Kraven gets involved as Spider-Man faces off against Morlun.

Spider-Man 94 #5- The final confrontation against Morlun!

All-New Spider-Gwen Ghost-Spider #5- Gwen runs into Silk and Agent Anti-Venom.

Batman # 4- Enter a new villain, the Minotaur!

Batman # 5- The Ojo strikes, but rather than going after Batman, it seems they are targeting Bruce Wayne and his date!

Marvel Rivals- The Cities of Heaven # 1- Luna is trying to throw a concert as she runs into Angela and Daredevil.

Thundercats # 22- I'll binge read this some day.

IDW TMNT # 13- The Turtles have new adventures as a new writer takes the reigns!

IDW TMNT # 14- I'll have to binge-read this too.

So there we go. It's quite the haul and it would have been even bigger had several comics that I won at a recent HipComic auction came in the mail today. We still have to hit up Alpha Comics for some more, hopefully soon. As of this time there's a big snow storm headed our way this weekend, so at least we'll have a lot to read to spend the time if we get snowed in. Assuming, of course, that the power doesn't go out.

AEW Women's Tag Team Cup Tournament The Deadly Draw- Final Match

By Mark Rodriguez Alright guys, so this is the final match between the Women's Tag Tournament, the Deadly Draw meaning that teams were made at random depending on what color chips they would select out of a drawing. The final match was between the Nightmare Sisters, Brandi Rhodes and Allie against the team of Ivelisse and Diamante, and it was shown Saturday, rather than Wednesday due to the NBA Play-Offs. The Match- The Nightmare Sisters (with Dustin & QT Marshall) VS Diamante & Ivelisse Due to the time constraints, the NBA game finished a half hour later than expected and the TNT Championship match was following this, so there wasn't time for a lot of shenanigans. Things started between Ivelisse and Brandi who started off with an exchange of armlocks and headlocks. Ivelisse tags Diamante in and after both ladies kicked her down and picked her up for a double slam. Brandi managed to tag Allie in who would quickly kick Diamante down. Diamante gets Allie in an armbar and...

SNK VS Capcom Chaos Volume 1

By Mark Rodriguez We'll be seeing a few crossovers this month, and we're gonna start with one based on a crossover videogame. If you think the Malibu SF comic series was kinda sloppy, this one was literally all action, pin ups and splash pages, and what little story in it is just plain weird. I'm talking about the SNK VS Capcom Chaos comics made by Happy Comics, translated by Japan and produced with supervision from both SNK Playmore and Capcom. But first a brief explanation on the game this was inspired from. In 2000, Capcom produced Capcom VS SNK Millenium Fight 2000 which would throw the fighters of Capcom and SNK at each other. Unfortunately, aside from Morrigan from Darkstalkers and Nakoruru from Samurai Shodown, the game felt more like Street Fighter VS King of Fighters. Capcom later made Capcom VS SNK 2 Mark of the Millenium with even more characters and variety as well as different modes of play. SNK made their own game, SNK VS Capcom Chaos and it offered a bit more...

Arachna# 1 Review *Spoilers*

By Mark Rodriguez Here's another awesome comic from independent artists that opened up an Indiegogo to get it started. I usually don't chip in unless it looks real good, like you just know they're gonna hit their goal. Arachna, a sexy superheroine with a split personality and an amazing art syle, sure looked like a good pick for me.  With lots of clever marketing in advance, even getting a person to dress as Arachna herself to bring the character to life, they hit their goal the same day they actually opened the Indiegogo for donations. I chipped in for the comic and the shirt, and here is my review on the latest superheroine that's bringing sexy back to comics, Arachna! Also note, while I'll try to keep my language as tame as I can, this book deals with way more adult stuff than I usually discuss on this blog. The Adventure Begins The issue opens with Jennie lying in bed naked in her apartment, a noticeable pile of sketches lying on the floor. She awakens to a voi...
