Comic Book Stash 6/26/2025

 By Mark Rodriguez

We haven't gone to Third Eye is a good long time so I wasn't surprised to find a large haul when I finally found the time to get there. It was just my luck that we had crazy rain and a flash flood the moment I left the apartment, but I was determined. So let's see what we got.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles # 9- The adventure continues as the Foot has turned the city of New York against the Turtles!

TMNT X Naruto # 4- The crossover continues as ninjas from the East and West team up!

West Coast Avengers # 8- The team faces off against an army of Ultrons as his cult continues.

Batgirl # 8- I will eventually binge-read this one

Superior Avengers # 3- Here we go!!! The Superior Avengers of an alternate future face off against the Avengers of modern day!!

All-New Venom # 7- Agent Anti-Venom has been sent to fight and defeat the All-New Venom. Flash and MJ have no personal beef with each other. Will this be a staged fight to appease SCAR or will things get out of control?

Batman Dark Patterns # 7- The third mystery begins! Pareidolia part 1!!

Gwenpool # 2- The new Weapon X agent turns out to be Gwen Stacy! In this issue she kills Gwenpool!!

Psylocke # 8- Kwannon's adventures continue as she fights against her killer instincts.

DC X Sonic the Hedgehog # 4- Darkseid is after the Chaos Emeralds and Sonic's crew teams up with the Justice League to stop him. Now Metal Sonic got involved!

Spider-Man and Wolverine # 2- Spider-Man discovers that Wolverine was sent to kill his parents so many years ago. Now Spidey is seeing red and he wants to kill Wolverine!!

I think this week the two comics I will look forward to reading the most this week are the Spider-Man/Wolverine comic and the Gwenpool comic. I see behind that Gwenpool # 1 got a reprint and also there's a Biker Mice from Mars comic. I also ran into this random dude that was made they brought back the OG Gwen Stacy to be a Gwenpool clone. The funny thing is Gwen herself hates being compared to Gwendolyn.

Another thing that came in was some back-order issues for Wendy. Since she got Silverhawks # 4 a few weeks back, she placed an order for the previous ones. She got a pack holding the first three issues. We might have to hit Stories soon to get MegaMan Timelines # 1 and also check on when the latest TMNT Saturday Morning Adventures might be out.

AEW Women's Tag Team Cup Tournament The Deadly Draw- Final Match

By Mark Rodriguez Alright guys, so this is the final match between the Women's Tag Tournament, the Deadly Draw meaning that teams were made at random depending on what color chips they would select out of a drawing. The final match was between the Nightmare Sisters, Brandi Rhodes and Allie against the team of Ivelisse and Diamante, and it was shown Saturday, rather than Wednesday due to the NBA Play-Offs. The Match- The Nightmare Sisters (with Dustin & QT Marshall) VS Diamante & Ivelisse Due to the time constraints, the NBA game finished a half hour later than expected and the TNT Championship match was following this, so there wasn't time for a lot of shenanigans. Things started between Ivelisse and Brandi who started off with an exchange of armlocks and headlocks. Ivelisse tags Diamante in and after both ladies kicked her down and picked her up for a double slam. Brandi managed to tag Allie in who would quickly kick Diamante down. Diamante gets Allie in an armbar and...

Arachna# 1 Review *Spoilers*

By Mark Rodriguez Here's another awesome comic from independent artists that opened up an Indiegogo to get it started. I usually don't chip in unless it looks real good, like you just know they're gonna hit their goal. Arachna, a sexy superheroine with a split personality and an amazing art syle, sure looked like a good pick for me.  With lots of clever marketing in advance, even getting a person to dress as Arachna herself to bring the character to life, they hit their goal the same day they actually opened the Indiegogo for donations. I chipped in for the comic and the shirt, and here is my review on the latest superheroine that's bringing sexy back to comics, Arachna! Also note, while I'll try to keep my language as tame as I can, this book deals with way more adult stuff than I usually discuss on this blog. The Adventure Begins The issue opens with Jennie lying in bed naked in her apartment, a noticeable pile of sketches lying on the floor. She awakens to a voi...

SNK VS Capcom Chaos Volume 1

By Mark Rodriguez We'll be seeing a few crossovers this month, and we're gonna start with one based on a crossover videogame. If you think the Malibu SF comic series was kinda sloppy, this one was literally all action, pin ups and splash pages, and what little story in it is just plain weird. I'm talking about the SNK VS Capcom Chaos comics made by Happy Comics, translated by Japan and produced with supervision from both SNK Playmore and Capcom. But first a brief explanation on the game this was inspired from. In 2000, Capcom produced Capcom VS SNK Millenium Fight 2000 which would throw the fighters of Capcom and SNK at each other. Unfortunately, aside from Morrigan from Darkstalkers and Nakoruru from Samurai Shodown, the game felt more like Street Fighter VS King of Fighters. Capcom later made Capcom VS SNK 2 Mark of the Millenium with even more characters and variety as well as different modes of play. SNK made their own game, SNK VS Capcom Chaos and it offered a bit more...
