Here's live action Sonic!!

By Mark Rodriguez

So yes, we finally get a potential look at 'leaked images' of how the Live Action Sonic will look in his upcoming movie produced by Paramount. Playing opposite Jim Carrey as Doctor Robotnik, this CGI Sonic bears some difference in design, presumably to 'make more sense' in the 'real world'.

Besides the overly detailed fur-quils, the two main things to note are Sonic's eyes and his gloves. It appears they are using clever fur patterns to stick as close to the game design as possible. Sonic's eyes are now nornal seperate eyes with a subtle white patch of fur between them to make them look like Sonic's bizzare double eye thing from the games.

The other detail are Sonic's gloves or rather, the lack of them. This time it looks like his hands are covered in white fur to give the look of white gloves. Missing however, are the overly muscular human proportioned legs shown in the teaser picture.

With parts of the movie taking place in a town actually called Green Hill, along with his new cop buddy working with the Green Hill Police Department, I'm curious if Sonic will come from Mobius or somehow be created on Earth. After all, if he comes from another world, why bother naming a 'real world' location after one of the game's stages? His cinematic makeover is supposd to make him look more realistic and fit in our world.... but in my opinion he still looks like a videogame/cartoon character.

What are your thoughts? I would have preferred a fully animated movie instead. Note, these pics are supposedly leaked so his final design might change. We'll find out once we see a trailer.

AEW Women's Tag Team Cup Tournament The Deadly Draw- Final Match

By Mark Rodriguez Alright guys, so this is the final match between the Women's Tag Tournament, the Deadly Draw meaning that teams were made at random depending on what color chips they would select out of a drawing. The final match was between the Nightmare Sisters, Brandi Rhodes and Allie against the team of Ivelisse and Diamante, and it was shown Saturday, rather than Wednesday due to the NBA Play-Offs. The Match- The Nightmare Sisters (with Dustin & QT Marshall) VS Diamante & Ivelisse Due to the time constraints, the NBA game finished a half hour later than expected and the TNT Championship match was following this, so there wasn't time for a lot of shenanigans. Things started between Ivelisse and Brandi who started off with an exchange of armlocks and headlocks. Ivelisse tags Diamante in and after both ladies kicked her down and picked her up for a double slam. Brandi managed to tag Allie in who would quickly kick Diamante down. Diamante gets Allie in an armbar and...

SNK VS Capcom Chaos Volume 1

By Mark Rodriguez We'll be seeing a few crossovers this month, and we're gonna start with one based on a crossover videogame. If you think the Malibu SF comic series was kinda sloppy, this one was literally all action, pin ups and splash pages, and what little story in it is just plain weird. I'm talking about the SNK VS Capcom Chaos comics made by Happy Comics, translated by Japan and produced with supervision from both SNK Playmore and Capcom. But first a brief explanation on the game this was inspired from. In 2000, Capcom produced Capcom VS SNK Millenium Fight 2000 which would throw the fighters of Capcom and SNK at each other. Unfortunately, aside from Morrigan from Darkstalkers and Nakoruru from Samurai Shodown, the game felt more like Street Fighter VS King of Fighters. Capcom later made Capcom VS SNK 2 Mark of the Millenium with even more characters and variety as well as different modes of play. SNK made their own game, SNK VS Capcom Chaos and it offered a bit more...

Arachna# 1 Review *Spoilers*

By Mark Rodriguez Here's another awesome comic from independent artists that opened up an Indiegogo to get it started. I usually don't chip in unless it looks real good, like you just know they're gonna hit their goal. Arachna, a sexy superheroine with a split personality and an amazing art syle, sure looked like a good pick for me.  With lots of clever marketing in advance, even getting a person to dress as Arachna herself to bring the character to life, they hit their goal the same day they actually opened the Indiegogo for donations. I chipped in for the comic and the shirt, and here is my review on the latest superheroine that's bringing sexy back to comics, Arachna! Also note, while I'll try to keep my language as tame as I can, this book deals with way more adult stuff than I usually discuss on this blog. The Adventure Begins The issue opens with Jennie lying in bed naked in her apartment, a noticeable pile of sketches lying on the floor. She awakens to a voi...
