Comic Book Stash 2/27/2026

 By Mark Rodriguez

We hit Alpha Comics today and caught up on some of the TMNT comics we missed out on. I also got the missed issue of Logan Black, White and Blood thanks to Hipcomic.

Logan Black, White & Blood # 1- I somehow missed the first issue of this mini-series. I was able to find a copy thanks to Hipcomic.

MegaMan X # 1- MegaMan X starts off with an on-going series!!

Darkstalkers X Street Fighter- Hunter Killers # 1- The Lords of the Makai story continues!!

Tomb Raider Sacred Artifacts # 2- Lara's adventure continues as she is challenged by a cult to recover a stolen artifact.

TMNT Saturday Morning Adventures # 33- It's finally time for the showdown against the Pantheon! The Turtles are ready and the Neutrinoes get involved.

TMNT Saturday Morning Adventures # 34- The adventure continues as the Turtles take the fight to the Pantheon!

TMNT Battle Nexus # 4- It's Donatello VS the 2012 version of Metalhead! Meanwhile Leonardo and Raphael meet different incarnations of the themselves!

TMNT Battle Nexus # 4 Review

TMNT Battle Nexus # 5- The final match is here! Michaelangelo VS Slash!! And Mikey is choosing not to fight!! How will the rest of the Turtles resolve all of this and defeat Savanti Romero and Mirage Shredder?

TMNT Battle Nexus # 5 Review

Marvel Free Previews- Hey, it was free so it was worth taking a look. Sounds like Hela and Knull are going to wage war as Venom's son is caught in the middle! There's also updates on all the comics and characters, especially the upcoming Spider-Man and Superman crossover comic!

So we got some goodies this time around, mostly of the TMNT variety. Somewhere along the way I missed an issue of the Spider-Gwen run, so I'll be on the lookout for it when I figure out which issue it was. I might pick up this Queen of Black story since I'm into all the symbiote stuff lately. However if this becomes some huge event, I'll stick to the main story and not the tie-ins.

AEW Women's Tag Team Cup Tournament The Deadly Draw- Final Match

By Mark Rodriguez Alright guys, so this is the final match between the Women's Tag Tournament, the Deadly Draw meaning that teams were made at random depending on what color chips they would select out of a drawing. The final match was between the Nightmare Sisters, Brandi Rhodes and Allie against the team of Ivelisse and Diamante, and it was shown Saturday, rather than Wednesday due to the NBA Play-Offs. The Match- The Nightmare Sisters (with Dustin & QT Marshall) VS Diamante & Ivelisse Due to the time constraints, the NBA game finished a half hour later than expected and the TNT Championship match was following this, so there wasn't time for a lot of shenanigans. Things started between Ivelisse and Brandi who started off with an exchange of armlocks and headlocks. Ivelisse tags Diamante in and after both ladies kicked her down and picked her up for a double slam. Brandi managed to tag Allie in who would quickly kick Diamante down. Diamante gets Allie in an armbar and...

SNK VS Capcom Chaos Volume 1

By Mark Rodriguez We'll be seeing a few crossovers this month, and we're gonna start with one based on a crossover videogame. If you think the Malibu SF comic series was kinda sloppy, this one was literally all action, pin ups and splash pages, and what little story in it is just plain weird. I'm talking about the SNK VS Capcom Chaos comics made by Happy Comics, translated by Japan and produced with supervision from both SNK Playmore and Capcom. But first a brief explanation on the game this was inspired from. In 2000, Capcom produced Capcom VS SNK Millenium Fight 2000 which would throw the fighters of Capcom and SNK at each other. Unfortunately, aside from Morrigan from Darkstalkers and Nakoruru from Samurai Shodown, the game felt more like Street Fighter VS King of Fighters. Capcom later made Capcom VS SNK 2 Mark of the Millenium with even more characters and variety as well as different modes of play. SNK made their own game, SNK VS Capcom Chaos and it offered a bit more...

Arachna# 1 Review *Spoilers*

By Mark Rodriguez Here's another awesome comic from independent artists that opened up an Indiegogo to get it started. I usually don't chip in unless it looks real good, like you just know they're gonna hit their goal. Arachna, a sexy superheroine with a split personality and an amazing art syle, sure looked like a good pick for me.  With lots of clever marketing in advance, even getting a person to dress as Arachna herself to bring the character to life, they hit their goal the same day they actually opened the Indiegogo for donations. I chipped in for the comic and the shirt, and here is my review on the latest superheroine that's bringing sexy back to comics, Arachna! Also note, while I'll try to keep my language as tame as I can, this book deals with way more adult stuff than I usually discuss on this blog. The Adventure Begins The issue opens with Jennie lying in bed naked in her apartment, a noticeable pile of sketches lying on the floor. She awakens to a voi...
