By Mark Rodriguez
This time around, I got a bunch of new comics at Third Eye Comics, but also several classic comics that I won at an auction from Mark's Comics through Hipcomic. Since all the comics were from the same store, I only had to pay once for shipping, which was a real lucky break! Let's see how many more comics I need to catch up on.
The match against Lady Shiva continues. This one seems to be the last issue in the series.
Two-Face # 4
Harvey Dent and Two-Face continue to fight against each other for control. Only one personality can take control!
Spectacular Spider-Men # 13-
If fighting the two Electros isn't enough, now the Lizard is getting involved!!
Batgirl # 5
Cassandra Cain's adventures continue... and eventually I'll get into this series and drop some reviews.
Thundercats # 13
I'll have to catch up in this one. It looks like there will be a side-series called Thundercats Lost coming out soon as well.
Legends of the Dark Knight # 1
I've covered several issues from this series that takes place early in several points of Batman's career. Now I was lucky enough to track down the first issue for a dollar! I had to jump in on this!!
X-Men # 80
Classic issue and iconic cover with the at-the-time latest line up. Wolverine, Colossus, Storm, Kitty Pryde, Nightcrawler, Rogue and Marrow take center stage!!
World's Finest Batman/Superman # 54
Based on the cover, it looks like Batman has gone crazy and wants to kill Bane and Superman has to stop him!!
X-Men # 77
Wolverine and Psylocke teaming up? Shut up and take my money!!
X-Men # 82
What is the secret of the two Xaviers? That's what I'd like to know. And yes, eventually I'll grab issue 81 so I don't have that gap in between.
IDW Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles # 7
The Turtles are finally together again but now the city of New York has turned against them. On top of that, things aren't so good among the Turtles themselves. With the city they used to protect coming after them, they better resolve their family issues pretty quickly!!
I got quite the haul this time along, mostly thanks to the classic comics I got from the Hipcomic auction. They do those often and you never know if you get lucky with a classic comic for a few bucks without getting outbid. Sure a comic might start at 99 cents and then people bid and outbid until now you're bidding hundreds of dollars... but sometimes you put a dollar or two down and no one outbids you so you get to keep it for one or two dollars. Let's see what comics await us the next time we hit the shop.
